Can't Log in from Lobby(Fixed)

Hey Guys,

I want to assure you we are aware of the ongoing issue that a fair number of players are experiencing with logging into the game. Both the Tech Support staff and the Developers are working hard to ensure that we can return as many players to game as possible so please bear with us.

We are really sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

I would suggest trying to log into a different world you don't normally use or try using the RuneScape client as some players have found this has solved their issue and allowed them to get back into game.

We'll keep this thread updated to let you know what is going on.

I was having trouble getting in this morning. I restarted my computer, and now I'm in.

Similar problems myself today a bit, trying to find worlds with less lag (to no avail) and couldn't get into 18. switched worlds and it worked.

It doesn't matter which world I use or whether I use the rs client or try to log in from the browser. I can log in on my work computer, though...makes me wonder what is different...too bad I can't play there.

02-Nov-2011 - Log-in and Frame-rate Issues

We're aware that some of you have been experiencing ongoing difficulty accessing the game, and that some of you in-game have noticed a reduced frame rate. Our first priority is to fix these problems as soon as we can.

Later today, we'll be implementing a temporary measure that will allow users experiencing log-in problems to access RuneScape, while we work on implementing a long-term solution.

Meanwhile, we're engaged in rigorous optimisation testing across all graphics modes to resolve the frame-rate problem. This is vital if we are to get to the root of the issue and ensure a permanent, all-encompassing fix for all users. We'll put this in place as soon as we possibly can.

We apologise for any disruption that these technical issues may be causing you. Please have patience and rest assured that resolving these issues quickly is of foremost importance to us.

Please ask any questions you may have on our technical forums.

"Later Today" they claim, It's already 7pm bst so not much time left in the day. Can't log in 40+ hours.

Latest new from the forums is that they are aiming for an 8pm lauch, but thats not definate
