Chi asks for Morale only
Steel asks for Morale/Combat/Seafaring
Laquer asks for Morale/Combat/Seafaring
Spice asks for Combat/Seafaring
Bones ask for Morale/Seafaring
So if you look at this, it makes sense to have
7 Travelling bands (morale)
2 Tiger Riders (combat)
4 Fortune Tellers (seafaring)
8 Oxhead (ALL)
3 Judge of Dice (All, 1 per voyage)
1 Jade Merchant (Bonus loot)
Especially since it seems (not confirmed) like you don't get multiple of the same type of mission on your voyage page.
Note that this is not my personal setup, but one that seems most effective for a trade good build
EDIT: Added Jade Merchant for use in story mission bonuses or for bonus spice, substitute either a tiger rider or fortune teller and use a powder keg or bottled cry to replace them based on availablility.
1. That would be good choice if you find a lot of trade goods voyages from
standard voyages (which are unfortunately quite rear)
2. You should turn your attention to
special voyages where most of the trade goods come from
The Assassin's resource voyages: Combat 20000
The Biologist: Morale 11500 and Seafaring 11500
The Convict: Morale 20000
The Missionary: Combat 11500 and Seafaring 11500
The Occultist: Morale 11500 and Combat 11500
The Whaler: Seafaring 20000
The Assassin and the Convict: Combat 22500
The Biologist and the Whaler: Seafaring 22500
The Missionary and the Occultist: Morale 22500
So it wouldn't quite do the job
