What constitutes an "official" KoA event?

Post by Dr Brad » Fri May 18, 2012 2:18 pm

It's great to see non-staff hosting clan events. Please, keep it up! :D

We've noticed some non-staff hosting events and keeping attendance for their events. Please note that for attendance to count toward the clan activity requirement (1 KoA event per month), it must be an "official" KoA event.
Host your own event?

An "official" KoA event is any community event of significant duration, that:

1) invites and includes any/all KOA members (except where an individual can't attend because their stats are too low or they haven't completed some required prerequisite), that
2) is announced in the upcoming events sections of the KoA forums with at least 24hrs (and preferably at least 1 week's) notice, and where
3) The host assumes responsibility for preparing and guiding members; and is also reasonably practiced in the event they wish to host.
4) a guide (or link to a guide) is posted in KoA forums.

Non-staff are welcome to host events and they will be considered "official" KoA events provided they meet the above criteria.

Skillweek or Skillweekend do not count toward the monthly clan activity requirement
