DID YOU KNOW?

If you are mining a star in a dangerous place you can log out of the world taking note of exactly where the star is, log into a different world and move into the square the star is then log back into your star world. That way your character is 'in' the star and so safe from any monsters wanting to batter you!

It's a handy trick for Wildy stars or anywhere else there are aggressive beasties. Although it can be a little tricky logging out when being attacked if you auto is off it can be done.

thats some good advice jen...i have only done 1 star myelf and i actually enjoyed it...we need to keep everyone in the loop so we can all go to one and knock it out

Thanks Trevor for the tips/help.

I still have 2 questions:
1) how do you get the exact times? do you cross-check with other people at their telescopes? I know that everyone else gets different time range, so it should be able to narrow it down that way.

2) Hop worlds. Why should we hop a world, when the star we are mining ain't down yet? Do you get more xp at higher layers of a star, or what is the reason?

1] the best telescope is a mahogany scope [lvl84 construction]
will give the owner a window of 2 mins,
you can use any scope for a time but the worse scope will give you a 20 min window.

2] [why hop]
there is only star per world and if there is 10 ppl in the clan hunting and we all pile on 1 star, it will be gone in 2 mins.
the idear of mining a star is to recieve 200 dust so we can collect the max reward. so we all need the extra stars to make sure we get the daily amount.

in my opinion the last thing we need is to have a event and the clan be unhappy because the stars are small and get nothing out of it and feel they have wasted their time. thats vwhy we need to hop.

I'm going to get a mahagony telescope now too. I never knew it would make a difference, sounds logical though.
