Fishing

NEVERMIND, IT'S BEEN HOTFIXED ALREADY. Feel free to watch the vid nonetheless for what I'd consider an effective training method (before it was nerf'd).

Friend of mine made this vid (not really a guide). He did a short (1h) test and managed 130k exp at 96 fishing.

What's the point of using the overload? To make fishing here even more wasteful?

Not overlords fishing potions for extra 3 fishing levels.

why fishing potions not admiral pie, admiral pies boost fishing level by 5?

Edit: should have watched the video more carefully, why dose he use overlords?

With cut/eat you can catch one every 3 ticks. With sipping an overload it reduces the time to 2 ticks, greatly increasing fishing speeds. And its not that wasteful, only costing 160k/h.

Interesting. Definitely can notice an increase in catch rate. Wonder if this works with other skills as well.

Wow, lots of clicking! That's what turned me away from blackjacking too. :P

Nevermind, they did a hotfix on it...Afkscape is back.

I still don't know why they don't allow for faster more click-intensive methods of training instead of other slower afk (or non-click intensive) methods. Guess they'd prefer it if I watched a movie and looked at rs every 2mins instead...sigh...reminds me of when they added "make x" to fletching (and any other skill for that matter), reducing exp/h...some people don't want to make-x, they want to click to make faster than make-x. Give players that option! [/rant]

The problems with a subscription based model of business :P (even if they are adding faster training methods)

Glad they took that out it was ruining a perfectly good afkable skill.
