I found this ranging video very helpful:

Good explanations. Not just a bunch of acid rock with video at warp speed.

It will be a long time before I am ready for Nomad (if ever) but this will be helpful when the time comes. Is there a way to book mark this?

In the upper right corner, click on Search. Enter "Nomad". It comes up as the first hit.

I would add to this that I would suggest using ruby (e) bolts until nomad is about 1/4 health the second time around as they can do tremendous damage at random times.

A word of caution, however: the extra damage is done at the expense of a slight amount of your health. For this reason, I always stopped attacking when I was frozen. Otherwise, you could get a special attack hit right before he hits you and you die. Don't say I didn't warn you!
