Happens to me also, it used to be it was ready after 48hrs max. But some weeks ago they seem to have messed with the fermenting times.

So, on day 9...Eureka! MATURE ale. In some circumstances, definitely more than 1-2 days to ferment. (Hopefully, this is on the far end of the bell-shaped curve)

Perhaps, as has been mentioned, there have been some hidden updates on the brewing times. This would maybe cause the prices to skyrocket!
