Here are some useful clans/chats I visit frequently to get experience.
I will keep adding or updating information, as provided by others in cc.

Mining

Living Rock Caverns
"Mining Golds" on world 84 for living rock cavern. You don't have to be in this cc. Just go to world 84.

"1_elite_sc" (Ref. by Trix)
"Stars sc1" (Ref. by Dr Brad; pm Nbwhaler49 and say you're from KoA; usually world 86; Sundays 1-4pm Eastern time)

Penguins

Option 1) Go to this link: http://z3.invisionfree.com/W60_Find_Pen/index.php?, or wait for weekly posts in koa forums from Rlgilly, our very own KOA member :), or on Tuesday evenings hunt with Gilly and few of the Koa members.

Option 2) To find the higher levels list of locations for this week, go to runescape forums and search for "Penguin Locations" . This will take you to a post with set of locations. To get to the actual cc, go to the following ccs.

world60pengs = Peng1
w60pengs = Peng2 (Ref. by Dr Brad)
w60pengu = Peng3 (Ref. by Dr Brad)
w60pengy = Peng4 (Ref. by Dr Brad)
W60_Find_Pen (cc run by RlGilly)

Option 3) Also, there is something called penguin tour bus, where a person leads a bunch of people to find all penguins. Search for "Penguin tour bus inc." in runescape forums.

Thanks Avi!
I moved it to " guides" because I think in " RS Chat" forum we would get too many new posts and it would be sad if something that useful would be soon on page 5 :P

People ask for that kind of stuff all the time :D
Good idea posting!

Star Find is now a closed CC and you need a rank to enter. Unfortunately, they aren't accepting new "members" at this time.

I use "star exile" or "stars found" for shooting stars.

Thanks, dunder. I visited both CCs. There were only 3-4 ppl in each. Perhaps we're between star waves.

I have visited "stars found" cc before and found it to be helpful. During waves, they are only slightly busier.

Also, the reason "star find" cc turned private was because people took star information, used it, and didn't return the favor. So, if you use one of these new cc's, I would suggest asking how you can help during the next wave. I found myself enjoying my time 10x more helping out than I ever did before. It's a give and take system. :)

Well said mady. That's why I think in eviltree clan they long don't give lists to non ranked people.

Same with other d&d clans. Helping is fun and each clan has very detailed guide on rsof about their rules and how you can help. I will add links to each clan's rs forums and some ways you can help if you use the cc.
