How to slow Rune Minners

Post by scootch » Fri Jan 08, 2010 6:46 pm

Thought give quick Mining tip. Rune rocks When I mine rune theirs usually lots other minners hoping and mining 2 rocks, About 3 hops i can usually Tell where they are at And if their going up or down the servers. To get the max. amount of ore. Heres all i do. I get 2 rocks I mine one and hop Do same thing next hop 3rd hop I mine both and then keep going. What this does If you have minner behind you. he or she will mine the one that i left And Thinking other will spawn. Which slows them down. By the time they figure it out, You are half way full and way out in front. Mining is best in earlie am. and mid afternoon,

:o i wouldn't have the guts to leave a vein behind when rune mining. Btw here's another great tool to use when mining rune ore. It's a php based respawn timer. It checks how much people is currently online on the world aswell so it's very accurate! http://atroxide.com/runetimer/index.php

Sometimes when I'm Rune mining I will leave a gem or two near the rocks and tell the world hopper that they just left with the rune while using an addy pic to get the coal until they leave then switch back to using the rune pic.
