capes for thoes who dont have any 99's

I currently have the "noob" obby cape and would like to upgrade, however; I have no 99's yet. Is there a better cape that I can buy? I tried to beat Jad for the fire cape, but was unable. Any advice?

Atm my favourite cape is the Ardougne 3 achievement cape (cloak). It has +6 on Def/Att/Prayer bonuses when worn.
I haven´t upgraded to the elite version as of yet, but as far as i know, the extra reward for this elite version is a "one off" extra experience, but no further boost to bonuses when worn.

I agree with Geve. I used to wear my spottier cape for the run boost. Now I hardly take my Arddy cape off. I love the free teles it gives!

Give Jad a couple more shots. Be sure to use cheap stuff - a rune crossbow and broad-tipped bolts are really enough for the whole attempt - and eventually you'll get it!

wow that Ardougne 3 achievement cape is really good. I didnt realize it had all them stats, and the prayer bounus is unreal, wow. I need to do that to get it soon, obby cape isnt that bad, at least i think that. gamerman1983

I like the ardy cape also. I've been wearing it a lot since getting it. Plus if you die and lose it, its free to get back which is another plus.

I kill Bork on a daily basis. Prior to the Ardy cape release, I used to home teleport out at the end (when the cavern begins to fall apart) using a teletab. Now, I use the "free" monastery teleport and recharge prayer at the altars there.

Monastery teleport of ardy cape 3 is good for two more things - it is close to a bush patch and close to the fairy ring of the tower of life.
Also it is good to get ardy cape 4 if you are farmer, cause the other teleport changes from once a day to unlimited teleport to ardy farm.

I often do the following when on a task in Kuradal Dungeon - use prayer without pray pots, and make it in a way that i am full inv, when out of prayer (takes practice on different tasks); Monastery tele to prayer restore; Fairy ring; Bank at Zanaris; Fairy ring BJQ back to Kuradal's dungeon.

Another nice thing about using the Ardy cape 3 teleport to the monastery...if you're coming from a hard fight (hitpoint lvl is down), run over to the Tower of Life to the East, pickpocket sandwiches from the workers (each sandwich heals 6 hp). If your thieving lvl is high enough, you are caught infrequently. Free food!
