One-Clicking the Summer Garden

Post by Kageyoshi » Tue Sep 01, 2009 5:34 pm

I figure that this post should go here, although I'm not writing my own guide, so here you are, for all of you wondering how it is done:

If only i remembered how to change the text for the url...

Ok guys and gals, I tried this "theory" and it sucked big bananas!

No matter how i timed it, at least one of the elementals would capture me!

You are limited to what you can see (and time) from your start position, so even if there is a successful way of timing it? The failure rate far outweighs that! (spent half an hour there with no success at all)

Am i missing something Olus?

I think there are two possibilities to explain how the video producers were successful with their one-click run:

1) Before running the course, they spent time organizing the guardians into a required sequence for success (which can be done)

2) They spliced separate segments of a video to give the illusion of a successful one-click run

this method has a too narrow marge of succes to be effective, if it is possible at all. All the elements have to be arranged exactly right and even then you can see how close they come to getting caught at each element. I bet it took them a long time to get two good rounds for their clip.
When you get in a flow doing it the normal way you can make very fast rounds as well and in a more controlled manner.

I actually had a guy who "seemed" to walk one continuous walk to the center. Don't know if he one clicked or was just very good at his transitions. Was cool to see tho. He did it till someone joined us and got caught, which messed up the rhythm of the elementals.

The secret is having the elementals exactly timed. The super-secret is how to get them timed....

I call BS. sure, you could possibly set them up so you could make it, but the time that would take is just stupid, and then worrying about some random coming along and messing it up. Think I'll just stick with the old way that takes 4 seconds more 8)
