1. Requirements

- 60 agility or 60 strength
- completion of ‘the death plateau' (for the climbing boots)
- 70 strength/constitution/ranged/agility (depending on which god's stronghold you wish to enter)

NOTE: Boosts cannot be used to enter a god's stronghold



2. Recommended items/quest/levels

- 85+ combat stats
- 61 magic & completion of ‘Eadgar's Ruse' to use the Trollheim teleport
- 55 magic to use high level alchemy
- 92 prayer & completion of ‘Temple at Senntisten' to use soulsplit
- 95 prayer & completion of ‘Temple at Senntisten' to use turmoil/anguish/torment
- dominion marker 3 or 4
- 96 herblore to make overloads
- 88 summoning to use a spirit unicorn
- 96 summoning to use a spirit packyak
- 99 summoning to use a spirit steel titan
- magic notepaper for things like ourg bones if you cannot use a spirit Yak



3. Getting there

To get there, you will either have to walk (using climbing boots) or use the Trollheim teleport in the regular spellbook. After completion of ‘Love Story' you can obtain a miner's diary from Runvastr in East Keldagrim and if you bring this to the Wise Old Man in Draynor, you will be able to modify house tablets to go to Trollheim.

The first time you head over there, you will need a rope to climb down. But before entering, you will have to speak to the dying knight. He will give you some notes and ask you to bring them to Sir Tiffy. What you do with these notes is entirely up to you. (Talking to the knight and obtaining the notes has to be done just once.)

Note that there is a chilly wind that will slowly drain your combat stats and hit 200 damage. Generally this is no real ‘threat' to be concerned about.

4. Getting kill count and the god factions

In the God Wars Dungeon there are 6 areas:
- the main area (followers of Bandos, Zamorak, Armadyl, Saradomin)
- Bandos' Stronghold requiring 70 strength to enter (followers of Bandos and Zamorak)
- Zamorak's Fortress requiring 70 constitution to enter (followers of Zamorak)
- Armadyl's Eyrie requiring 70 ranged to enter (followers of Zamorak and Armadyl)
- Saradomin's Encampment requiring 70 agility to enter (followers of Zamorak and Saradomin)
- Ancient Prison requiring the frozen key to enter (Nex and followers of Zaros)

NOTE: Upon entering Zamorak's Fortress your prayer will be drained.

To enter the boss chambers, you first need to get at least a 40 kill count. You can get this kill count by killing followers of the boss you want to face later on. Under normal circumstances, ALL monsters will be aggressive towards you. To make monsters unaggressive, you will need to
- wear at least one piece of equipment related to their god
- wear at least one Nex item (provides protection against all factions except in the Ancient Prison)
- wear an ascension crossbow (provides protection against all factions except in the Ancient Prison)
- wear a Shard of Zaros from ‘Fate of the Gods' (provides protection against all factions)

NOTE: If you don't have level 83 slayer, try to avoid abilities with a larger area of effect. Every god's stronghold is home to infernal mages that require level 83 slayer to be killed. So they will be able to damage you, but not the other way around. Abilties to avoid in this case include: ricochet, bombardement, quake, hurricane, chain,...

The boss chambers of Bandos, Zamorak, Armadyl and Saradomin are all equipped with a prayer altar that can be used once every 10 minutes to restore your prayer points. It also has a teleport option to teleport you out of the boss room.



5. General equipment loadouts

Any improvements will obviously benefit you.

USEFULL ITEMS
- bonecrusher + demonhorn necklace (if not lootsharing)
- a ring with stats (if lootsharing – the ring of wealth does not affect lootshare)
- dragon rider amulet (if lootsharing – requires completion of ‘One of a Kind')
- Ardougne cloak 4 (if you do not have a completionist cape)



6. General Graardor (Bandos)

- weakness: /
- attack styles: melee and range
- way to engage: mage or melee
- prayer: protect from melee/deflect melee/soulsplit
- life points: 40,000
- max hit: 2,629 (melee)

NOTES:
- drops super restores
- a bonecrusher will bury the ourg bones too (so don't bring one if you want to bank them)

7. K'ril Tsutsaroth (Zamorak)

- weakness: fire spells
- attack styles: melee and magic

- life points: 55,000
- max hit: 5,500+ (special)

NOTES:
- drops super restores
- when using prayer, K'ril is more likely to use his prayer, SO DO NOT PRAY UNTIL HE IS KILLED

8. Kree'arra (Armadyl)

- weakness: /
- attack styles: melee, magic and ranged
- way to engage: mage or range
- prayer: protect from missiles/deflect missiles/soulsplit
- life points: 75,000
- max hit: 1,600 (ranged)

NOTES:
- doesn't drop super restores, so bring some
- Some attacks can push and stun you. To prevent this from happening, stand in the door opening.

9. Commander Zilyana (Saradomin)

- max hit: 2,000

10. Extra tips

Some ways of healing are based on your maximum amount of life points. So you would heal more if you would be able to extend your maximum amount of life points. Over a long period of time this difference might be significant.

Ways of extending your maximum amount of life points:
- equipping a shield
- the effect of a bonfire

Ways of healing that are affected by this:
- healing aura scroll from a unicorn stallion (a spirit cape will reduce the special move points cost)
- regenerate
- Guthix' blessing / rejuvenate (only possible if wearing a shield)
- food that heals a percentage of your life points like strawberries
NOTE: A basket of strawberries will heal more than a rocktail soup if your maximum amount of life points is higher than 7000. This is also very cost effective.

Another good way of healing is the combination overload and Saradomin brew flask. That way, you can store up to 3000 life points per inventory slot as opposed to rocktails with only 1860. Of course you should always take some sharks or rocktails because they heal more in one bite, in case of emergency.
