Myztra's Ultimate (but small) Porter Guide

The Porter is a Divination sign, available from Divination level 6 and above. It allows for automagic banking like the juju potions, but with 100% chance for a lot of things like logs, ore, dragon hides etc. Each item banked will draw one charge from the Porter, and they have from 5 charges at Porter I up to 30 charges at Porter VI.

This can be extremely useful in some cases.

As an example, I filled my inventory with 28 Porter IV (1 worn, 27 in inv) and went granite mining. This means I banked 28*20=560 granite without having to actually go to the bank at all. This also works in combat, where some (but not all) drops will be banked. Right clicking a Porter will have an option "Check items", that lists everything it will auto-bank for you.

There are six major fields of items it will bank, from the skills: Farming, Fishing, Hunter, Mining, Woodcutting and "Other". The last category holds an assortment of different items.

The Porter, when worn, will occupy the Pocket slot.

The Porter is not tradeable.

Scrimshaw slot is called pocket but that doesn't really matter

Is there a required level to use the porters different from the requirement to make them? It'd be nice if I could just buy some max level porters to use without having to train up myself

I don't know if there is a lvl requirement to use them, but if you can make them you can use them.

Also Porters are untradeable.

they are very useful for those gold/coal deposits challenge. I was using on rocktails also until I remembered tackle box banks 100 per day
