Fire cape........

Anyone have a guide to getting the fire cape (with the update)? Times running out on the kill darts I have and figure I could use em to get my cape! Thanks guys!

I havent really tried it, I gave it a go on beta, but it was taking forever.

I guess it's just a case of patience and making use of rejuvinate.

I'm sure someone will have done it.

I'd recommend bringing magic and range, the early rounds the monsters are weak to magic mostly and the later rounds- specifically the rounds where there's the magic users they are weak to range- however i did the entire thing with range right after release and it wasn't too bad.

Also keep in mind, protection prayers are still necessary against Jad as they still provide 100% protection.

Me too Tis, I'm stressing that I need to do it and use up the 2 darts I have left. I need to get my first fire cape, but I'm a big ~:>

I have to wait to try when I can get back in my house, and when my hubby and I each have our own computer, plus with much better internet connection. Here in my temporary home, RS is almost unplayable

my big worry is I am gonna be going in in dragon armor......... lol but gonna start playing around with it today got my darts to use up!

Tis, I've found Black d-hide to be really effective. You can tank the melee no problem but dragonhide is useful for soaking up that mage/range damage. ;)

Just an update. I GOT IT! I used and I do not recommend u use this set up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wore my dragon armor and my dshield and whip, glory and used my crystal bow too, Inventory full of rocktails and one prayer pot (in case) I did not pray at all during and then when Jad arrived I used my instadart! : )

I used only magic, I didn't use any food or pots untill I was at jad. The abilities I used was Rejuvenate, Reflect and the total protection one, incase I would mess up the prayers.

It was a great method but I guess it'll be harder now after the updated sets and less efficient rejuvenate.
