In front of a traffic light are a car, a horse and carriage and a motorbike. The traffic light goes on green. The driver of the car hoots, the horse panics and bites the driver of the motorbike in his ear.

Who is wrong here?

The motorbike rider is in the wrong, if he had a helmet on, he wouldn't get bitten in the ear1

This is one I made up myself:

I fathered many but some were never born. I loved many but was loved by thousands. I was struck between the 7 by 23 at 55, the consequences of this started the end.

Who was I?

If it's too hard, I will think a bit and add more or I could always tell 1 person the answer and see if they agree with it!

edited to say, No Dan, I wont tell you who it is!

I have pmed Poppy with the answer and explanations of the riddle to see if she thinks it's too hard or not, although I have heard some of you like em hard!

After much debate and searching the net, I will change the first line. Sorry if you are stuck because of it!

Do you lot need a hint?

OK then,

I fathered many but some were never born. I loved many but was loved by thousands. I was struck between the 7 by 23 at 55, the consequences of this started the end.

One of my paramour's started the life that ended mine, Oh what a brute.

WELL DONE! Knota

I fathered many but some were never born.
This could be my stumbling point, yes, he had children but it has never really been proved but widely thought that he ordered some of his children to be C sectioned so he could be at the birth. His family name also has something to do with Caesarean section but has never been proved.
I loved many but was loved by thousands.
He had 3 wifes and many lovers, at his peak in the Roman Empire, he was loved by the 'lower' classes because he was changing the way society worked
I was struck between the 7 by 23 at 55, the consequences of this started the end.
He was killed within the 7 hills of Rome by 23 stab wounds when he was 55 years old. After his death, the lower classes that loved him so well began to revolt and this started the demise of the great Roman Empire
One of my paramour's started the life that ended mine, Oh what a brute.
One of his lovers, Servilia Caepionis was the mother of Brutus, the very person who organised his assassination

OK, here goes another one, made up by myself:

Who am I?

A long, long war was my life's work, but I only fought for 19 years. I looked up for inspiration which cost me my life. I wasnt shot out a cannon and no one beat me but this was important after my death I also have a feast but dont burn the stake!

Again, I will tell Poppy and see what she thinks! I will add more if she thinks its too hard!
