A whip.

Three people check into a hotel and together take one room for 30 euro. After they paid the hotel manager they went to their room. Then the hotel manager suddenly remembers the room wasn't 30 but 25 euro. he calls the bellboy and gives him 5 euro to return to the three new guests. on his way to the room the bellboy realizes it's pretty hard to divide 5 euro over three people so he decides to give each of them back 1 euro and keep the remaining 2 euro for himself.
Now: each person paid 10 euro, but they get 1 euro back each. So they now pay 9 euro each adding up to 27 euro. The bellboy has 2 euro totalling at 29 euro. Where's the missing euro?

They pay 10 origionally but end up paying 9 which is 27 euro. Room cost 25. Bell boy gives 3 each...which is 28 and keeps 2...which is 30.

30 -25=5 left. 3 each person. 2 for bellboy
