You can light some drinks, and put them on fire. Maybe the one drinking slow burned himself to death?

I don't know, just a guess.

A man rode to town on Friday.
He stayed there all night,
and came back on the same Friday.
How can this be?

Good guess Hid, but no, no drinks were set on fire. :) All the years telling this riddle, I never heard that one. lol You get two points for originality. :)

Cause the guy who drank his drink fast felt that he needed to go to the.... u know :)
While he was gone a bomb exploded in that bar and the guy who drank his drink slow was dead 8-X

Do I get 3 points for originality? :D

=)) good one kal

Another try: poisoned icecubes? If you drink it slow, they melt. If you drink fast they don't have time to melt.

ewsentinel:
maybe it has something to do with relative time...
a) drinking a drink slow might mean it takes an hour, but it's even slower when it took him a week or a month. in that case he dies of starvation :P
b) the drinking has nothing to do with it. Both live and both will die eventually. So you could just as well have said the fast drinker dies and the slow drinker lives, because they will do both :)
(probably both too far-fetched)

hid:
I think his bike/horse/mule or whatever he rides on is called Friday

YES! Good job! The ice cubes were poisoned. Only the "drinks" were the same. :D

Jack and Jill are lying on the floor inside the house, dead. They died from lack of water. There is shattered glass next to them. How did they die?
