It's been a while :)
Teenager stuck in child's swing has to be removed by firefighters

A red-faced teenager had to be dangled upside down by three firefighters after she got stuck - in a children's SWING.

The 18-year-old - named only as Cody - took her toddler brother to the park and jumped into the swing to show him how it was done.

But the mortified teen found herself wedged and called for emergency help after spending an hour trying to wriggle free.

Firefighters took the tiny seat apart and finally freed her from the swing in Malmesbury, Wilts., at around 3.30pm on Monday.

Watch manager Chris Harvey said: "The little boy she was playing with that asked her to swing as well.

"I don't for one minute think she thought she was going to get in and not out. She had tried for about an hour before shouting for help.

"We took the swing apart, freed her, and then put the swing back together again."

OK, here's a quick reminder of the rules for this little game :D
Oobz wrote:This used to be a feature on radio 1 from 2 of my favourite DJ's, Mark and Lard. It's quite simple, I (or someone) will post a strange or quirky news story and we will post songs that relate to the headline. Now, it can be the song title or the actual band name that relates to the headline. No need to post a youtube video or anything, just the song title and artist.

This may be fun, or may not be, lol.

So here is the first news story and a couple of examples in case you don't get what this thread is about :)
Bikers block freeway for traffic stopping marriage proposal

Hundreds of bikers slowed down traffic on a major California motorway so that one member could propose to his girlfriend in an unusual way.

The bikers halted the traffic and the groom-to-be, Hector Martinez, 24, spun his back tyre to release a large plume of pink smoke.

Mr Martinez then got off his motorbike and got down on one knee in front of his girlfriend, Paige Hernandez, who accepted his proposal.

The bikers then got back on their bikes and drove off.

And here we go again!

Man finds his doppelganger sitting in his seat on a flight

_86414942_neilthomasdouglas.jpg
A man has spoken of the "total weirdness" of encountering his doppelganger on a flight.

Neil Thomas Douglas boarded a flight on Thursday night and came face-to-face with his lookalike.

Mr Douglas, a photographer from Glasgow, said: "Everyone around us had a laugh, we took a selfie and that was it."

The selfie was posted on Twitter and has been retweeted thousands of times.

The photographer explained that when he boarded the Ryanair flight to Galway via London Stansted there was already someone sitting in his seat.

He said: "There was a dude already on my seat. When the guy looked up, I thought: 'He looks like me'."

But the pair were later to encounter a further coincidence when they checked into the same hotel in Galway.

Mr Douglas added: "Later that night, I went to the pub and again, there was my twin. Total weirdness. We had a laugh and a pint."

The selfie was posted on Twitter by Lee Beattie, director of Wire Media, who wrote: "Guy on right is the husband of my friend. Guy on left is a STRANGER he met on a flight last night!"
