a Dungeoneering update for Dungeoneering haters

From the November BTS - meaning hopefully coming in November:
Dungeoneering XP Increases (Free Players & Members)

As mentioned earlier in the year, we've been carefully looking at the XP rates for small Dungeoneering groups, and were ready to make some changes. We're still committed to giving the biggest rewards to groups of five players, but we've listened to your feedback and run countless dungeons ourselves to come up with a system that's fairer to all.

Groups that contain fewer than five dungeoneers will receive an XP boost, with solo group XP being doubled as a minimum. Solo XP at higher levels can now reach figures of 350k per hour - possibly even higher depending on the room-raiding qualities of the adventurer. While it's still most rewarding to explore in a group of five, those of you going it alone or in small groups will find your dungeon-delving more worthwhile than ever!

Don't forget that this means an increase to your Dungeoneering tokens too, meaning that ever-elusive chaotic or bonecrushing equipment will finally be in your grasp.
For people like me who hate hate HATE dungeoneering, and especially hate finding groups of randoms, this update is long overdue. I'm happy to train dungeoneering with clanmates, but it will be really nice to not have terrible xp when I want/have to go solo...

I read this earlier too - saw it posted on facebook and went to read. Very good. I always have problems finding people to go with since I am lower leveled (56 dung, 28 floor I think) - this will allow me to get some xp and skill up a bit, woot.

Ohfaq Dont feel bad the last time I tried to join a dungeon party I lost out just changing worlds. Ive always went with my son and his friends, they just tell me what doors to open. kinda sad. my point is if a experienced player could setup some parameters for interface, supplies, selecting floors, ect I could get up to speed. I feel like such a noob!

Keep in mind, I'm quite sure this update hasn't happened yet, so stay calm and don't expect better xp rates yet :P

I have the basics down and know that some people prefer to rush (just run through as quick as possible) while others don't mind taking a few extra minutes to grab some xp in other areas - I am the latter. My problem is finding people who want to go with me. Since most of my clan mates are much higher levels, they do occult floors while I am still stuck lower. I tried to go to the low level dung worlds a few times but have been grossly disappointed. Once, I had someone boot me from a party because I didn't turn off shared xp. Most of the times though people just randomly leave in the middle of a dungeon and you cannot complete it. It is frustrating so I have done most of my dungeoneering by myself.

I have actually gone into the dungeons 3 times. The best time was with some more experienced clan members who helped make it fun. But I have not found that it appeals to me alone. The exp is terrible, and wouldn't improve much even with doubling it. My exp comes from tears, Jack of Trades and penguins (but usually these go to things that are more important to me. Damion or others, if you want to do a low-level floor (like under 10) and want a partner who is pretty noobish and will forgive you anything, let me know and we can talk about a time. Basic grounds, you have to forgive me my ignorance of the place as well.

This sound like an update for me. I am like Gridenough - all my dung XP is from non-dung sources. Still wouldn't mind trying a group of sympathetic people :)

This is good news. I don't mind dungeoneering, but the time commitment makes it difficult. It's the only skill that I can't log out on quickly, which I often have to do. I'll make sure to run a few dungeons this month.

If I have the time, I am more than happy to dung with people who have a lower level than myself. It is with the help and support of this clan that I have now found my dung feet, though my combat level still leaves me cowering in the corner for some of the time! Besides, even the higher level people need to rush the lower floors to improve their ratings. Having just reset my floors, I would be happy to work through them at a slower pace if needed =) (at my age, speed isn't everything anyway)

Long overdue but nice that its happening, I was never a big dung fan. lol. If I ever start playing again I think Ill enjoy this update. Wonder how already high level dungers feel about it, it was one of my lowest skills.
