"What was the inspiration behind this type of rewards system?"

Mod Nancy: Our inspiration was providing a large variety of rewards for all the different types of players we have. We know you all have different motivations for playing. If you referring, specifically, to the monthly points scheme, our inspiration was the many other type of loyalty programmes put on by grocery stores, airlines, and hundreds of other types.


"Do Auras stack with other effects? E.g. Familiars for fishing, Holy Wrench for Prayer."

Mod Chris L: Yes.


"Does the Reverence Aura work with just prayer pots, or will it work with super restore as well?"

Mod Chris L: Super restore and super prayer potion will also work.


"Can you give us more information about the Jack of Trades Aura? What is the bonus? Do we get to choose?"

Mod Nancy: Yes, you can choose the bonus. The amount you get depends on the level you have in the skill you choose.


"If a player has more than one Aura, would they be able to use one while the other is charging?"

Mod Chris L: Yes.


"Why does the Runic Accuracy Aura only last about half the time and have a much longer recharge time than the Sharpshooter Aura?"

Mod Chris L: Looks like a bug, Runic Accuracy will share the same times as Sharpshooter following the next game update.


"Which Auras can be used in PvP and safe activities/minigames?"

Mod Chris L: Only Reverence will function in PvP given the way prayer works. Other auras are strictly PvE and only have visual effects if they are activated in PvP.


"When we destroy an Aura, why does it have a cool-down time when we reclaim it, even if it wasn't activated?"

Mod Nancy: Because people might use the destruction of auras and instant retrieval of an aura to cheat the system and avoid the cool down time. We have no way of recording if an aura was on or off when it is destroyed. It was either that, or make you pay for it again.


"Can you apply the same mechanic that is applied to the Loyalty Titles to the Mobilizing Armies titles?"

Mod Nancy: There's no plan to, at the moment, as the Mobilising Armies one was intended just for that area. But, it's something we can look into.


"Can we have the "Title" award be used in friends and clan chats, maybe even the forums?"

Mod Nancy: Currently, they won't work in those places for technical reasons. We can look into it in the future.


"Are you planning on adding an option to toggle titles on/off? They can get rather long and seem rather spammy."

Mod Nancy: No, there are no plans to toggle titles on or off.


"Will ever be possible to allow Auras to be gained through other methods in the game: methods where you play through content?"

Mod Mark: Auras are intended to be reserved for the loyalty programme only.


"Can we expect more combat/skill boosting-type of Aura's in the future?"

Mod Nancy: Yes! We have lots more auras planned including skill, combat, and fun ones.


"Any chance we can get an Aura with the cosmetic effects permanently?"

Mod Nancy: I'm afraid that is not currently planned. Auras are really cool looking, but do increase the amount of data being sent to those around you. We want to use them to good effect, but sparingly. Besides, it wouldn't be as cool if you saw them all the time.


"Will you consider a PIN (similar to Dungeoneering) to Loyalty Points?"

Mod Nancy: Yes, we can consider putting a PIN on the shop.


"Changing the Burthorpe Games Room Teleport to something that is available only once a month. Does this mean you've officially given up on the Games Room?"

Mod Nancy: No, we have not given up on the games room. In fact, we have plans that will hopefully re-invigorate it. But we felt the new teleport location was more convenient, generally, not just for the Loyalty and Troll invasion updates.
