The time is here getting ready for DXP weekend and ofc Gameblast18. This is where gamers all over raise well needed cash for Special effect, an amazing charity that the Runefesters support every year at our Runefest weekend.
Special Effect is a charity that makes disabled people able to game with adapted gaming gear made for the gamer In question. Take a look at their page here: Special Effect

Jagex have put up an auction page on EBay, we are def gonna make some serious cash for this wonderful charity.
Mod Ash's tea mug is up to £227.22 already!
RuneFest 2014 Golden Gnome is up to £720!!
and the unique Runescape title is sitting at £3100, yes that's right £3100!!!

Lots of gamers will be streaming over the weekend to raise money, I'll let you know when we have the final total raised.

It’s a charity we’re both proud and humbled to work with, and we want you to get involved by partaking in arguably the most fun-packed event of the year: GameBlast 2018.
From 12pm UTC on 23 February, we’ll be hosting a 24-hour live stream in the Jagex offices complete with events, competitions and crazy challenges. There are plenty of ways you can get involved: we’ll be offering two bundles full of in-game goodies - the GameBlast 2018 bundle and the Relic bundle - 100% of the profits from which go directly to SpecialEffect. You can also get an exclusive LootScape reward just for tuning in! Want to donate no strings attached? No problem. Whatever your avenue, all we ask is that you take this opportunity to support SpecialEffect in their phenomenal work levelling the playing field.

£91k Raised over 24hours by Runescapers!! just amazing! So proud to be a part of such a brilliant set of people/gamers. Saw this post and thought I'd share, but whether it's a fiver or an insert coin tshirt bought it all adds up.

Edit: it's 100k now and still rising

Game shops are now doing a 24hr stream, so many games and businesses are involved in raising cash for Special Effect. Tom Cassell is from Pro Syndicate I believe

Yes, I'm very proud of the Runescape community. Now the Runefesters are having a couple of days r+r then we start on what we are going to do to raise cash for Special Effect at the charity picnic/runefest weekend, it's all go for us
