Dishonour amongst thieves. Can't get through the last room.

Try as I might, I just can't get through that last room. Either the wights get through because I can't set the traps in time, or the vault door gets unbalanced. I just can't get through this. Does anyone have any tips?

uhm i always set the portals first then the door as a priority.

Yes, set the portals, check the door if needed, THEN use Jarrod. Be sure your compass is facing the right way, because the door is actually facing south. That confused me at first.

Every time the portals change you get a green message in your chatbox saying so. When you see that, look at the door. When the door is fine, change the portals. Then do either Jarrod or Moia. Don't pay attention to the portals until a new chatbox message pops up. And always try to pay a little attention to the doors.

Also you don't need to hold it totally balance order them to change when there is ~20% on one and 80% on the other side and right clicking on the NPC can save you quite a lot of time. took me about 5 attempts to finish it.

I did it in the end after many tries. I think I had a little bit of luck with how the portals changed, and I reckon I did it just before the doors unbalanced, but I was glad to get that part of the quest over. The fight at the end is very interesting, but not really difficult. The hardest bit is clicking to get free from the spider-web he traps you in. I had to teleport out fast twice as I almost died trapped in his web.

So at least I have my quest cape back for now.
