Crystal Tools
Im just wondering if anyone has got either of the tools yet as I am led to believe the crystal pickaxe is much faster than the dragon version and was wondeeing if any clan members have got it and tried it out and also if they had the hatchet if thats any faster
Re: Crystal Tools
Hey Moggy, working hard ;)?
I've only got about half the amount of dust I need so I think it's gonna be a long process. Seems like you can get about 1k dust per hour

Break time. I need a beer haha. Yea I was doing it for over 4 and a half hours and got 3400 or something just wondering what I should go for first:-) think it has to be my pick though, it may urge me to do 120 mining(ha)
Re: Crystal Tools
Just upgraded my Dragon Pickaxe to crystal.
Tested a measly 5 min test with each on Seren Stones @ 99 mining with full magic golem outfit:
Dragon pickaxe - 128,316 exp per hour (Was a bit slower than usual, prob more in the 140k range normally)
Crystal pickaxe - 177,378 exp per hour
This is also without a familiar, no aura.

Re: Crystal Tools
I have both tools now and I have to say they are both a noticeable upgrade.
I don't have solid numbers like sig but when cutting crystal trees my numbers have been pretty good per hour at 96 wc.
