Andy thank you so much but I couldn't accept that from anyone, I think I'm just gonna give warcraft a try hopefully blizzard is a little more secure then jagex. I was actually reading some forums and there have been a ton of people who just logged on rs and were standing in lumby with nothing the exact same as me I think there must be like some serious hacking experts working on this, because I had all the security I possibly could. And I can actually go on ge history and see where these jerks sold everything and there is nothing that can be done so I just honestly dont want any part of it anymore =(

Take care. I hear WoW has major security issues as well, and it might be worth looking into an "authenticator".

Sorry to hear the news. I would not, however, just assume it's a Runescape issue and proceed along with your computer accordingly. I know you believe you did all you could to prevent this, but really, especially if they got your bank pin, odds are that somehow your computer was compromised.

Before you start any new game and start entering credit card information anywhere, you really should reformat your hard disk and re-install your OS. If you don't, odds are that you're setting yourself up for something like this again, but this time losing a WoW Account you're going to have to spend $100 to get up to speed on Cataclysm.

And WoW players are the most under-seige population of gamers there are. If you're going to sign up for WoW, create two new email accounts: 1 to register your account on WoW, and 1 to register on WoW fansites, both with complex passwords.

I'm bitter that Jagex has spent $50+ million of RS subscriptions developing other games instead of improving RS. If you're reading one of my posts and I even allude to Dungeoneering as a "skill" instead of minigame, keep that in mind.

I would be pretty upset myself. I'm not sure if I would quit all together though.
