Post by SirDuke17 » Wed Mar 21, 2012 1:31 am

Hey KoA -

Curious what is the most useful aura is? With the discount, its time to spend my rewards points. But what to buy?

Any suggestions?

thanks!

Jack of all Trades and Greenfingers if you are a skiller.

Jack of all Trades and Vampyrism/Penace if you are a killer.

Jack of all Trades for everyone.

Hmm, vampirism/penance? I did reverence since I do protect prayers a lot.

I like it. Prayer drain goes significantly slower, pots boost more. But I haven't really read about vampirism and penance. I may look into those.

I love vampyrism! It allows me to not worry about healing at all on most slayer tasks except for say mithril dragons and even then it takes a lot of the worry about healing. Consistently healing a portion of what you dish out when you are already boosted by slayer helm makes it a great aura to use on the harder tasks that require more food or more concentration of flickering soul split.

Reverance, I really don't see much of a difference. 5% slower prayer drain and more points per potion.. the more points per dose of prayer pot is nice, but the prayer drain is meh.

Vampirism/Penance are much better than Reverance, speaking as someone who has both :p vampirism is like a free boost to soul split and penance is extremely useful anywhere you need to pray but are still getting hit, such as boss monsters.

I havn't bought an aura yet, but as an avid slayer, I may look into vampirism!

A fairly accurate summary of the auras. Check out all tabs for more info (not just the open tab).

Vampyrism rocks and much better than reverence imho. I use it on most slayer tasks and it just kicks bottom! :)
