New members forum guide

Welcome new KoA members! Here's a guide to our forums:

After you have familiarised yourself with navigating our threads and reading our posts, you will notice that each post has a 'home' topic. Please try to post in the relevant topic. If you make a mistake, please do not worry, as Admin can move your post to the relevant topic thread.

Once you have the hang of that, you may wish to familiarise yourself with your profile. This is located at the top right of the page under 'User Control Panel'

Once you click on this, you will see a flip out menu on the left hand side.
'Profile' is second down that list. Click on this to see your personal details.
IMPORTANT Please change your board settings for your timezone, including/excluding DST (Daylight Savings Time).

At this point, feel free to add any details you may wish to share in the 'edit profile'

Next is the 'edit signature'. This feature can be fun, and gives you the chance to personalise each of your posts with a slogan, or picture, or even a stats box displaying your in game levels. (Many KoA members use a "Stat Signature" from Runetrack. Others are equally acceptable.)
All you need to do is add the link code in this box, and each time you post, your updated sig will post.
Some KoA members also include an "Adventurer's Log" sig.

Next is your 'Avatar' This will be displayed under your name, on the left of your posts.
Again putting in the links here will automatically show this pic in your posts.

So by now you are getting the idea on how to navigate your 'User Control Panel'

Occassionally, we send a PM (private message) to all members. If you wish to reply to the sender of this message, please double check the 'To' box above your message before sending, as we often send a massive single message to all, and your reply may also go to everyone too, instead of just your intended sender.

Our official clan's Voice of Internet Protocol (VOIP) software is Discord. For information on how to install Discord, please visit here: viewtopic.php?f=100&t=14219

Have fun exploring, and always remember that staff are only a PM away to help. :)
