PATCH NOTES 24th April 2017
Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


Ports adventurer unlocks have been added to the relevant skill guides.



Quests, Challenges and Achievements:


Clan achievements now give the correct pop-up and message.

Skeletal wishes now displays a pop up.

Players can now consistently complete the Morytania achievement 'gate spectre-ations'.

Players can now correctly complete the Tirannwn achievement 'Disco impling'.

Lurgon's Run now gives a pop-up on completion.

All quests have been updated to no longer display a blank 'task complete' pop-up on completion.

Players can now boost their stats to complete wilderness achievements. Note: The requirements must be met through every step of the achievement.



Other


Kal'gerion demon special attacks will now trigger inside the wilderness.

Fixed the wardrobe tooltip for the off-hand Throwing Starfish.

Adamant dragons and Rune dragons now have the new luck system applied to them.

The bonecrusher settings interface now lists Hardened and Reinforced bones.

Content changes:

Players can now reliably log into the lobby.

Players will no longer be disconnected upon logging into a game world.

Players can now reliably claim the Wilderness task set rewards.

The "Like a boss" achievement is no longer part of the Falador easy task set.

Fixed the "trimmed achievement vape" typo.

The "Champions, What Champions?" achievement no longer requires only a single champion being defeated.

The completionist cape now only requires a single ports storyline to be completed, instead of all.

Fixed a clientscript error when trying to add too many icons to the buff bar.

Players can now reliably equip their completionist, trimmed completionist, and master quest capes if they have earned it.

Quest, Challenges and Achievements


The bar crawl requirement on some Achievements should now be ticked off correctly.

Completing the Phoenix Lair won't give a pop-up for 'Arise from the Ash' every time. You will need to complete the fight again for your Master Quest Capes.

Removed a full stop from the end of 'Easy - Journey to the Centre of the Earth Altar' Achievement.

The pop-up for 'A Trip to the East' should now work correctly.

Pinning Paths will now work correctly with the 'hide completed' filter toggled.

The Temple at Senntisten's Kudos requirement now appears correctly again in the Quest interface.


Other


A number of spelling errors within the Spring Fayre have been fixed.

Music tracks 'Fun of the Fayre', 'Angel of Death' & 'Angel of Death (Prelude)' now correctly unlock while music shuffle is enabled.

Ironmen can now access the chinchompa map store and buy outfit pieces with Spring Fayre tickets.

Anagogic orts no longer drop while riding the Bucking Baroo at the Spring Fayre.

Players can no longer obstruct pickaxe wanging at the Spring Fayre.

The green pointlights on the Shattered World checkpoint islands have been switched to red, to match the corresponding portal.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


Players will now be healed when reaching a checkpoint in Shattered Worlds.

A variety of blocked tiles in Shattered Worlds have been fixed.

Mutated Dazing Shot can no longer be used on free worlds.

Loading a bank preset via Shattered Worlds will now ask for a bank PIN.

The following quick chat messages have been added for Shattered Worlds:

A world broadcast is now sent when finding an Abyssal Hound pet.

Players can now examine a Shattered Worlds pet to view the owner's highest Shattered World reached.

An issue where sometimes not enough NPCs would spawn to complete a Shattered Worlds objective has been fixed.

The Alpha Omega music track now correctly plays in front of the Shattered Worlds challenger portal.

Bladed Dive can now be used for movement from the quinary action bar.

Auto-composting with the Farming skillcape perk no longer uses up two compost per patch.

Players will no longer be awarded points repeatedly by killing players in Deathmatch after a game has ended.


Other


The ability to select the log-in screen background has been added.

The sprite tail and head will no longer appear in the full outfit list.

The God Wars 2 kill count interface position on the minigame HUD has been fixed.

Ninja fixes


An option to climb directly to the top or bottom of the Grand Tree has been added.

The animation when using the Excalibur and Enhanced Excalibur special attacks has been updated.

The 20gp fee for using the Shilo Village furnace has been removed.

The Cooking Make-X interface will now more reliably default to the item the player is attempting to cook.

The colour of the text when Raids armour activates has been changed.

The amount of Big Chinchompa quota tickets that can be bought with competence points has been increased to 30,000.

The 'close door' option on the Piscatoris bank door has been removed.

Death will now correctly sort items to be reclaimed based on their reclaim cost instead of their base value.

Empty buckets have been rotated to help differentiate between empty and filled buckets.

The duel arena has been updated:

The minimum number of players in a duelling arena before private arenas are created for new duels has been lowered to 10 (from 20).

The south-west duelling arena is now reserved for no-movement duels only.

Players will no longer spawn on top of another player at the start of a no-movement duel.



Activated auras will now deplete when dying in PvP instead of being destroyed.

Clicking on the current world in the world hop interface will no longer unnecessarily close the interface.

The clan broadcast for someone guesting in your clan chat will no longer appear repeatedly when they change worlds and rejoin.

Circus Teddy now correctly states that you can only do 5 Thieving tricks.



Quest, Challenges and Achievements


Beads for the Imp Catcher quest are no longer lost with death in the Wilderness.

You can now correctly use the task master emote once all area achievements are completed.



Other


A 'Visualise' option has been added to the Orb of Oculus, allowing you to select a Skybox and/or a filter of your choice.

The Day and Night stones will no longer expire 90 seconds after activating them.

A bloodstone has been added which can be acquired by talking to Vanescula, if you've completed River of Blood.

The Minigame HUD is now removed when using the Orb of Oculus.

The Orb of Oculus can now be used in Legacy mode.

You can now access the Orb's Gaze and Visualise features by right clicking the World Map icon.

The two-handed Sunspear (and augmented variation) can now swap styles during combat.

The Legacy accordion on the world map has been fixed.

The default tooltip is no longer transparent.

The world select on the Shattered Worlds start interface now auto-selects a band based on your highest world reached, rather than starting at world 1.

The way that Puncture damage interacts with hit effects has been tweaked.

Tooltips for main ribbon icons will now update to reflect whether they are currently open/closed.

A typo in dialogue with Milton the Miller has been corrected.

The popup for buying out-of-stock options will no longer appear when switching tabs in the rare item store.

The sink in Varrock Palace now correctly works as a water source.

It is not longer necessary to auto-setup every time when graphics drivers are out of date.

German, French and Portuguese-language worlds will now have a 21:00 UTC (game time) Happy Hour slot.

Players can now complete Spring Fayre fortunes related to Dungeoneering without issue.



Ninja Fixes


Buying olive oil from Razmire will now upgrade to 4 doses with the Morytania medium tasks complete.

A toggle has been added to the world hop interface to ignore confirmation when left-click world hopping.

Arriving at a lodestone when using a quick teleport has been made quicker.

Messages from using luck-enhancing items like Ring of Wealth and Luck of the Dwarves are no longer filtered.

When using vis wax, it will now take the wax directly from your bank if you do not have enough in your inventory.

The time since you last collected resources has been added to the Miscellania kingdom overlay.

Afros sold by Party Pete are no longer tradeable.

When repairing degraded items, you will now be offered the option to try and repair everything in your backpack and worn inventory at once.

Slayer VIP tickets have been moved to the currency pouch.

The clan broadcast for someone guesting in your clan chat is will no longer appear repeatedly when they change worlds and rejoin.

You can now convert generic Daily and Weekly D&D tokens to Weekly and Monthly D&D tokens:

You can convert 7 Daily D&D tokens into 1 Weekly D&D token

You can convert 28 Daily D&D tokens into 1 Monthly D&D token

You can convert 4 Weekly D&D tokens into 1 Monthly D&D token





NXT


A crash/freeze during/after playing certain cutscenes has been fixed.

A crash due to array overflows has been fixed.

OSX input fixes:

The Cmd+Q hotkey has been fixed.

Various Cmd hotkeys (especially Shift+Cmd+4 and Cmd+Tab) leaving Shift/Cmd buttons held down on OS X and blocking mouse input until they are pressed again have been fixed.

Slow scrolling with mouse wheel is no longer ignored, and scrolls by a small amount as it should.

A black bar at top in fullscreen mode on OSX has been fixed.

A rare script-related crash has been fixed.

A crash caused by NPC hint arrows has been fixed.

Several potential crashes in the audio system have been fixed.

Distance fog no longer turns objects white in the background.

The mini-menu now has the correct priority for certain camera angles.

The client icon no longer appears as a terminal on OSX.

A crash caused by dragging certain interfaces has been fixed.

An animation subsystem has been optimised.

Model loading has been optimised.

An issue where some wall pieces were not correctly lit has been fixed.

Compact install on the NXT launcher has been fixed.

Drawable elements have been optimised.

Please Note!! - No update next week ready for Menaphos on 5th June!

Graphical


Some missing point lights in the Shattered Worlds staging area have been put back in.

The Loved Up resting animation now loops correctly.

A graphical issue with the Samurai outfit has been fixed.

A guard on the hill north of Falador has had his chathead restored.

The Angelic Inari pet now appears correctly when set as a familiar override.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


Broken sigils from Shattered Worlds are now always kept on death.

Bladed Dive can no longer be used while bound by various boss attacks.

A typo on the Abyssal Knight Quartermaster has been fixed.

Sumona can no longer give slayer assignments to underleveled players.

The level 3 Herblore level-up message has been corrected to mention Recruitment Drive instead of null.

Smithing dragonbane bars no longer displays a negative quantity.

Players can now deposit off-hand weapons in Stealing Creation.

The Scavenging perk message is now white, and the type of components (rare or uncommon) coloured.

It is no longer possible to place Dwarven challenge barrels on top of portable skilling locations.

It is now possible to add compost to the Trollheim patch when it has something growing in it.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Enakhra's Lament now displays the correct requirements for Prayer and Magic in the quest journal.

A typo in the quest journal for One Piercing Note has been fixed.

Players can no longer reroll Daily Challenges for free.

The 'Troublesome Crystals' achievement now shows the list of crystals needed and acquired.

An issue that was preventing the Taskmaster emote from unlocking has been corrected.

Explorer Jack now once again hands out rewards for completing area achievements.

The achievement tracker will now shuffle achievements upwards if there is an empty space.


Other


The Road to Menaphos is now highlighted on the World Map for players who have some quests to complete.

Players can now teleport to the Grand Exchange or Miscellania with the Luck of the Dwarves ring.

Count Check has moved back home to the Stronghold of Security.

The 5% increased damage buff is active once again for the Mahjarrat Aura.

The Zaros Godsword special attack has been buffed. Melee attacks performed while standing inside the black hole now do 25% additional damage, up from 10%.

The Ward of Icthlarin will now heal the correct amount with Death's support unlocked.

The Berserker, Maniacal and Reckless auras 15% additional damage taken can no longer be avoided.

The Items Kept on Death interface will now display the correct price if reclaiming the items from Death.

Players can now consistently bank from any direction in Canifis.

A typo in Cocoaberry's examine text has been fixed.

A spelling error on the impure Senntisten crystal has been fixed.

Attempting to withdraw from an inactive runepouch no longer causes a disconnect.

Antique, skilling, experience, protean and rusty chests will now always be protected on death.

Increased strykewyrm attack ranges so players can no longer safespot them.

Several examine issues on Barrows augmented shields have been fixed.

Seals of Cywir, Faceless, Furies and Dragonriders are now always kept on death (unless dying in Wilderness, where the seals get converted to coins).

A signpost in Catherby no longer allows players to stand inside it.

Detonate's buff icon will now attempt to display a % icon when it hits or gets near 100% so it can be more reliable.

The following changes have now been made for the Visualise option on the World Map:

Environment overrides will no longer reset when teleporting to a lodestone.

The Blood, Day and Night stone overrides are now available via Visualise if unlocked.

The Shattered Worlds skybox has now been added to Visualise.

There are now buttons for each skybox/filter menu to return to the previous menu.


Last week's hotfixes


15/05, 11:00 UTC: A disconnect when logging in with a certain combination of achievements completed has been fixed.

15/05, 12:50 UTC: The damage from Mutated Dazing Shot's puncture effect no longer heals Nex during her blood phase and is no longer reflected by Araxxor's web shield.

15/05, 12:50 UTC: The Skybox/Filters menu will now stay open when selecting an option, allowing players to cycle through them.


Ninja fixes


The Hiscores interface will now only open the Seasonal Hiscore tab if there is an active seasonal running, otherwise it will default to regular hiscores.

Quest, Challenge and Achievements


Achievements which are still part of the 'old' task diary system, will now have their difficulty listed at the beginning of their title.


Other


Diango now keeps the Alchemist's Amulet if it's destroyed by the Player.

Fixed an issue that was causing active lootshare to block Acheron mammoth's from performing special attacks.

Players that had missed out on the obtaining the 'Fairest of Them All' title due to the Chinchompa Hunt requirement, will now have their title unlocked upon login, provided all other requirements have been met.

The Kharidian desert has been graphically updated.

Granite and sandstone are now left-click drop.

Combat encounters during 'Stolen Hearts' and 'Diamond in the Rough' quests no longer give combat XP.

Sumona has a high chance of assigning the new Slayer monsters as a task.

The elite dark beast has a cooldown between when it can do its special attack.

Camels, crocodiles, giant lizards, vultures, jackals, locusts and scarabs have been graphically updated.

Bonfire icons have been added to the world map

The damage cap on Tuska's Wrath has been increased to 15,000

Crystallise timer bar now displays the correct time remaining if the resource is consumed by another player

Divination wisps spawn closer to the Sophanem crater

Graphical


Fishing icons at the pond next to Lumbridge Crater have been removed.

The model for the pharaoh mask cosmetic helmet has been fixed.

The Contact! map marker has been moved.

A tile that was missing blocking in the Sophanem Slayer dungeon has been fixed.

Missing blocking has been added to the pillars and gates southeast of the Menaphos lodestone.

A buff icon has been added, which displays when you are receiving the 5% XP boost in the city of Menaphos and the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon.

Your favourited faction in Menaphos is now reflected in the small overlay interface.

The Map icon for Contact! quest has been fixed.

Water icon visible again on minimap for Imperial District.



Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


Mutator icons and their slots have been center-aligned.

A typo in Raids reward shop has been fixed.

The Player-Owned Ports ship name creator had 'Hunter' listed twice in the People/Professions category. One of them has been changed to 'Hunger' and moved to Properties/Attributes category. There's a possibility that some players that had the name 'Hunter' as the second name on the ship will now have the ship named 'Hunger'. You will need to manually change the name to 'Hunter'.

The Runecrafting Skills tab now correctly sorts A-Z.

Icefiends on Ice Mountain now drop souls that can be collected by Ushabti Jars.

Players can no longer get stuck when adding creatures to their Slayer dungeon.

You can now add both the ring of slaying or ferocious ring to the corrupted slayer helmet.

The Quick Chat option for the total experience between Slayer levels now accounts for levels above 99.

Raptor lamps now cap at level 99 Slayer values, instead of awarding level 1 experience if you were level 100 or higher.

The Slayer Codex no longer crashes when viewing certain monster entries.

An issue that caused players to gain loot in the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon while Scrimshaw of Corruption or Sacrifice was active has now been fixed.

Slayer level 120 now correctly counts as a 99 towards re-tuning a second skilling portal in the Max Guild garden.

Players are more likely receive Keys to the Crossing both on and off slayer task.

A buff icon has now been added to the Shifting Tombs that tracks the following:

Stacks of charge to use.

Timer until you lose your charges.



The soul runes entry has been removed from the Invention skill guide and added to Runecrafting skill guide.

Several boxes needed for 'Sophind yourself some treasure by searching these boxes' clue scroll have been returned to Sophanem.

Tweaks have been made to ensure that concentrated sandstone in Menaphos always has at least one deposit open.

Some of the Cabbage Facepunch Quartermaster's dialogue has been tweaked to reflect that fact that he's moved to the Gamer's Grotto.

The quest requirement for attuned crystal weaponry has been corrected in the skillguide.

The defense skillcape should now reliably add a Sign of Life cooldown to your debuff bar.



Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Attempting to catch charming moths without meeting requirements will now give the correct message.

A typo in Mornid's dialogue during The Lord of Vampyrium has been fixed.

Mourning's End Part 1 should display the correct adventure log following the conversation with Arianwyn.

A typo previously seen when talking to Mazchna via NPC Contact in the While Guthix Sleeps quest has been fixed.

Raids' feats window has been removed as the feats now appear on Achievement tab under PvM.

Achievement - Barbarian Scavenger (Trimmed Comp) will now correctly complete only upon finding the last entry.

Achievements which are still part of the 'old' Task system, will now have their difficulty listed at the beginning of their title.

Certain NPCs and Locs will no longer disappear after completion of the 'Our Man in the North' quest.

A Quest Journal typo for The Jack of Spades quest has been fixed.

Danzelop now gives directions to the correct location when on a city quest.

The achievement 'Work on your Artisan' (Trimmed Completionist Cape) was incorrectly completing if you had any one of the rewards unlocked (rather than all of them). This has only been an issue since the launch of the achievements system, so anyone who had legitimately fully completed the Artisans' Workshop will remain able to wear their trimmed comp cape. However, if you've falsely been able to wear the cape because of this issue, you'll have to go back and complete all the rewards as originally intended.

Reduced the amount of croc ices required on a Menaphos city quest.

Urluk will now go back to the start of a list if players exhaust all of his advice options.

The correct skills are now awarded experience in Tears of Guthix.

Qat will no longer wander the streets of Menaphos.

The reputation gained whilst on and off task in the Sophanem slayer dungeon has been increased.

The reputation received when completing a city quest has been increased.

Retroactively, for any city quests you have completed prior to this update you will be given the reputation reward for them when logging in.



Other


You are no longer able to drag any item from your backpack into your action bar while the action bar is locked.

A debuff icon has been added to tell you when Crystal Shield comes off Cooldown (similar to Crackling).

A 1 minute cooldown text line has been added to the Crystal Shield and Crackling perk descriptions.

A tooltip has been to the Crystal Shield defense active buff icon which shows how many temporary life points you have.

A typo in the examine text for Statius' platelegs has been fixed.

A typo on barrelchest's disguise has been fixed.

A small typo on Telos's pet has been fixed.

A typo on Slayer Cape Perk text has been fixed.

A typo on the graphics options setting for FXAA+MSAA has been fixed.

A grammatical error when searching bird nests for seeds has been fixed.

Missing death audio has now been added to the goblin flashmob NPC, Hollowtoof.

Changed Eat to Drink on some teas when used from the bank.

Report a Player now gives correct directions for silent abusers (bots etc.).

Added blocking to a rock next to Kathy Corkat north of the Eagles Peak Lodestone.

Repairing items on a repair stand with max coins will now correctly do so, instead of ignoring the attempt.

Winners of the clan cup have had their logos added to the clan motif editor.

Lava Lanterns are now treated as Prismatic rewards on TH, when freezing/unfreezing via the categories interface.

Corrected the typo in the warning message you get if you still have any unused charity tokens.

Angelic Inari no longer appears in the Pets tab for players that do not own it.

Dragging and dropping sandstone from the inventory will now correctly drop the sandstone.

Added missing blocking to plant pots in Menaphos.

An issue with Luminous Wisps harvesting audio has been fixed.

An issue with bartender chat looping incorrectly has been fixed.

Players will now correctly be sent back to Menaphos when exiting the Ports portal, if they had previously entered from there.

After using the Menaphos lodestone, the right-click previous destination now displays Menaphos.

Players can now use the tackleboxes to store and teleport the raw beltfish, raw catfish and the raw desert sole.

Joining a friend in Menaphos via the Friends List (if you're eligible) should now correctly teleport you to the Menaphos lodestone.

The Scorpion pet will now spawn in accessible locations.

The following has now been added to the buff/debuff bars:

Stone of Jas duration & percent of additional damage gained.

Fury Shark effect duration.

Book of Char effect duration.

Zaros Godsword Spec cooldown.

When hit by certain abilities that disable your prayers/curses.



You can now track your active Sign of the Porter charges on your buff bar.

An issue regarding Ironmen converting untradeable bonds, causing loss of money (as they cannot trade tradeable Bonds), has been fixed.

Dark Beasts max hit has been changed back to 600 from 1080.



Ninja Fixes


Higher-tier luck effects now work for all tiers below it. For example, Ring of Fortune can now work for areas where only the Ring of Wealth would work.

An option to teleport to Keldagrim has been added to Luck of the Dwarves.

Hazelmere's Signet Ring now has the option to teleport to Miscellania, Grand Exchange, Keldagrim or Tree Gnome Stronghold.

A typo in the Nex: Angel of Death bleed effect message has been fixed.

You will no longer get luck messages when you successfully roll a clue scroll drop when you already have one.



Hotfixes


Players will no longer have to pay a fee to reclaim their loot from the chest in the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon if they die outside of it.

In solo Shifting Tombs, players will only receive a maximum of 3 sarcophagi to open, making the experience more solo-friendly.

Players can now use the shortcut as expected in the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon.

Players will no longer receive a message saying that they have no keys to fight the Magister with when going through the boss portal.

Scarabs and Scarabites now count towards eachother's assignments.

The Jack of Spades quest can no longer be discussed on a free-to-play world.

The Crondis dowsing rod now works once more when locating the third source.

Desert goats now increment correctly when killed on a random quest task.

Dialogue has been added to Coenus to allow one-way passage to Sophanem (for players who have completed 'Contact!').

Scan clue coordinates have been moved out of the water in the desert.

You can once again claim Easy Desert Task Set rewards from Hassan.

Speaking with random quest NPCs no longer causes a game crash.

An issue where players progress towards the 'A Game of Tombs' achievement would reset when a player hit 255 tombs completed has been fixed.

Exiled Kalphites now count towards your progress when you're assigned to kill Kalphites for a city quest.

You will no longer receive city quests in Menaphos which require more than 100 seeds.

Dealing with Scabaras can once again be completed.

Relomia has returned to the Heart to continue Sliske's Endgame.

The ability to wear a penguin suit has been returned to the desert, allowing 'Back to the Freezer' to be completed.

Queuing threshold & ultimate abilities in certain situations no longer halts revolution until the queued ability is triggered.

Players are now able to complete any remaining fayre fortunes that were previously incompletable due to the Fayre ending.

Teleporting to the Imperial district via the Menaphos journal no longer causes a crash.

Players can reclaim items on death from camel warriors.

When a player completes the Golden Path, a World Broadcast will no longer be displayed. However, friends of the player will see a friends broadcast.

The Choleric Imp has returned to the Fire Altar for those looking for a yellow bead.

A shadow under the fairy ring in the Glacor cave has been fixed.

The animation played when descending certain ladders inside pyramids has been fixed.
The contact juggling resting animation can no longer be used to spin weapons.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


Placing a Divine location no longer blocks auto-deploying protean traps.

Rubium mining messages have been added to the chat filter.

Defeating your opponent in a duel will no longer leave them as a target that you're unable attack.

An issue where Castle Wars barricades sometimes left their blocking behind when being destroyed has been fixed.

Exiting a player-owned port will now consistently place the player at the point at which they entered.

The Make-X interface no longer shows the wrong skill when making burial armour.

Portable crafters will now default to the correct type of battlestaff being crafted.

Remaining 'Cloud of Destiny' fortunes will now automatically complete upon login and players will receive the relevant prismatic star reward.

The slayer creature kills table has been expanded to show all existing entries as the latest alphabetical entries were being cut off.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


It is no longer possible to teleport from the Rocking unicorns during Gower Quest.

Cosmetic overrides for the shield (Aten) and axe (Uraeus) found after Diamond in the Rough now have ownership tracking which is set when first picking up, wearing or destroying the item.


Menaphos


Menaphos district houses containing cats now unlock at tier 5 reputation.

Players can no longer enter Menaphos district houses without the correct reputation tier.

Menaphite gift offerings now have a right-click "offer for reputation" option.

Speaking to Urluk about city quests will now display a hint arrow to the NPC if someone has a task to complete.

The soul talisman can now be traded via the Grand Exchange.

The reputation interface & corruption stacks are no longer lost when stepping on one rogue tile in the Sophanem slayer dungeon.

Players are now correctly awarded the full amount of reputation when killing the last monster on their Slayer task in the Sophanem Slayer dungeon.

Khopesh weapons can now be traded correctly.

Shades will now spawn correctly in the Player-Owned Slayer Dungeon.

The keris effect now works correctly on corrupted kalphites.

Corrupted dust devils are now affected by the mask of dust.

The mask of dust now provides a teleport to the Sophanem slayer dungeon with at least 97 Slayer.

A duplicate reference to a Crocodile Tears quest reward in the quest complete scroll has been removed.

Players can now get a replacement charged dowsing rod by taking a replacement rod to the Elid spirits during Crocodile Tears.

Rhotep's city quest head icon has been placed back above his head.

Implings and Guthixian butterflies will no longer fly into the pillars on the dock in the Ports district of Menaphos.

Squeck can now be removed from a player-owned house menagerie.

The Tale of Amascut, Crondis, Het, and Jack of Spades music tracks will now be unlocked after the respective quest has been completed, if you've already completed these quests you can unlock the tracks from listening to the Pub singer.

A shadow on Commander Akhomet's chat head has been tweaked.

Pets received in Menaphos will now function correctly on free-to-play worlds.

The mirrors in Sophanem have been graphically updated.

The swamp environment area in the desert has been updated.

Blocking has been added to some desert locations near the Bandit Camp.

The bankers in the underground Sophanem bank have had their models updated.


Nex changes


The Nex banker no longer moves around, making her easier to find with lots of players in the area.

Dominion mines are once again usable within the Nex: Angel of Death encounter, but will only work on blood reavers (as they are under the 138 combat level check). Pillars had a combat level of 0, so they will no longer damage pillars.

Nex: Angel of Death no longer targets another player who isn't the tank when restarting her attacks.

All players who participate and defeat Nex in the Angel of Death encounter will be able to obtain the lore book drops from the exit pillar. This is regardless of the amount of damage dealt for ease of access.

Players who have been pinned under the icicle during the Nex: Angel of Death encounter will now longer get hit by the shadows during the final phase.

The player who started the Nex: Angel of Death fight is now broadcasted to the entire arena.

The Praesul Codex from Nex: Angel of Death now works with the shardshare system.


Other


Tunks has been out on a new adventure around Gielinor!

Players can once again find the rainbow amulet and cape tokens on the Grand Exchange.

An issue where the Flanking perk was sometimes dealing extra damage to large NPCs when facing them has been fixed.

Trying to enter Daemonheim from the Wilderness no longer loops a chat message.

Players will now walk towards Ugthanki camels instead of talking to them from a distance.

Mr Ex has taken all Hardcore players' jars of divine light for safekeeping. He will continue to open the jar upon death as before. He will also allow you to open it by speaking to him.

The following skyboxes now utilize volumetric lighting when activated via the 'Skybox/Filters' option:

The following fixes and tweaks have now been implemented. If you believe a change has not been documented, either in the patch notes or the news posts for this week’s update, please detail the change so that it may be added.

Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


Bladed Dive no longer deals damage while used during global cooldown.

The value of the items stored in Nomad's chest is now listed on the interface.

Adrenaline is now cleared when switching PvP target by using Bladed Dive while on global cooldown.

While using combat channelling abilities, you can now click away to stop the channel.

Attack checks for Staff of Sliske's shadow clone have been tightened up.

The following fixes have been made to Scopuli:

Scopulus will now correctly find his partner if he has been apart from him for too long, and then find a new target.

Provoke should now correctly draw the Scopulus to you. Note; provoke will not work when a Scopulus is in search for his partner.

They will no longer switch targets if they're within range of each other.

They will also now switch target if they have been stood in the same place for too long.



The player will now always face the low shield wall on the Burthorpe Agility course before playing the climb-over animation.

Slayer helmets now correctly equip from the Bank menu.

An informative tooltip has been added to all summoning familiar pouches.

Vis wax is now taken after confirming your harmony pillar reset, rather than before.

Mogres will no longer instantly despawn in your player-owned slayer dungeon.

You will no longer receive a message that you've unlocked an XP boost for Slayer when adding the same soul to the chest in your player-owned slayer dungeon.

You now have a chance to get Ushabti from the Rush of Blood D&D.

Players will now receive 250 reputation for each new slayer monster added to the Slayer Codex, and retroactively awarded 250 reputation for each already added.

Fishermen have found their way to the docks in Menaphos, so you can now partake in the Fish Flingers D&D.

Strange rocks can now be obtained from all fishing spots (excluding those within Daemonheim).

Acadia logs now have the same junk chance as magic logs when disassembling.

The casket-salvaging scrimshaw will now work while fishing in Menaphos.

The Polishing perk will now work on fish caught in the Ports district in Menaphos.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Movement abilities are no longer blocked during the Plague's End boss fight.

The missing Memoriam Crystal tasks have been added to the Master Quest Cape Achievements tab.

The correct task name is now displayed upon completing the task 'That's not a knife...'.

The soul talisman staff can now be added to your keepsake box.

A spelling mistake has been fixed in the name 'Catsanova' under the 'Feline Good' meta achievement.


Other


Some of the rune Treasure Trail armour has been renamed to help prevent trade scams. They now follow this format: Rune platebody (Bandos).

Extraneous spaces have been removed from the end of the Wikian and the Fairest of Them All titles.

Boxing gloves can no longer be dismantled.

It is now possible to extend time of existing portables by using the 'Extend Portable' option on your Portable Object.

You can now buy and sell the following teleports on the Grand Exchange:

Shifting Tombs



The warning message previously displayed when trying to attack desert mining camp guards has been removed.

Ironmen can now use the Shield Dome and Prism of Dowsing spells.

A new option has been added to Wythien in Prifddinas. You are now able to exchange Motherlode Maw enhancers for Motherlode Shards at a 1:1 ratio. On top of this you can exchange used enhancers for a percentage of a shard. Shout out to Mod Rowley for doing this in his spare time.


Ninja Fixes


Removing active scrimshaws will no longer require you to turn them off first.

Attuned crystal teleport, armour and weapon seeds now have a destroy option instead of drop.

You can now disassemble Crystal tree blossoms for a chance of crystal parts.

Active spells now have a red outline for main-hand spell, and yellow outline for off-hand spell selected.

It is now possible to split the Attack, Strength, Magic, Defence and Constitution sub tabs out into their own window.

You can now right-click effigies in the inventory to select skills.

The spell Crystal Mask can now be cast again to refresh the effect before the buff expires.

The Clue Scroll interface now displays "Scanning..." when scanning.

Quick lodestone teleports now play override landing animations.

Non-Treasure Hunter skilling outfits should now redeem from Diango.

Players can now give inventory to a beast of burden familiar by using the familiar menu or by setting the left-click option on the summoning button.

There is now less chat when paying Saniboch to enter the Brimhaven dungeon.

An off-hand has been added to pair with the Wand of Cywir - the Orb of Cywir, obtainable from Helwyr in the Heart of Gielinor.

Familiars will now be force-called to areas when teleporting, provided they have room to enter.

Dying to Nex: Angel of Death in Practice mode will no longer unlock the prison barrier in the original Nex boss area.

A minor blocking issue inside a house in Al Kharid has been fixed.

Menaphos reputation now caps correctly on the tooltip.

The chance to receive a soul devourer's soul has increased.

There is now an increased chance to receive a creature's soul if the player has 200 million Slayer XP.

A three-second delay has been added between catching souls for the Slayer Codex.

The Soul Obelisk demands your full attention. Duels will now be cancelled while interacting with it.

Abyssal demons will no longer teleport through the entrance barrier in the player-owned slayer dungeon.

Sumona now only assigns creatures in the Sophanem slayer dungeon if the level requirement to kill them is met.

Players can no longer understand Faiza when attempting to talk to her without the Ghostspeak amulet.

An issue that was preventing the quest point total being updated correctly until logging out after completing the Crocodile Tears or 'Phite Club quests has been fixed.

Aristarchus now only appears in the appropriate location.

Crocodile Tears can no longer be started without meeting the quest's requirements.

Graphical issues with the Desert Treasure pyramid have been resolved.

A number of spelling and grammar errors in the Menaphos content have been fixed.

Some patches of grass have been removed from Menaphos.

The fail rate for crossing the vine agility shortcut at the herblore habitat has been lowered.

The filters on the chat interface have been repositioned to better display them and increase usability.

Mammoth tusks are now a 100% drop from Acheron mammoths.

Eating food using the Mammoth Feast special move no longer drains adrenaline.

The anti-poison totem can now be worn in the pocket slot with no defensive stats and reducing poison damage by 50% except in Pyramid Plunder. It is also still possible to equip in the off-hand slot as before.

The possessed priest's model in Icthlarin's Little Helper has been updated to make it more inline with current Menaphite graphics.

A client crashing issue that previously occured after using the Communication device during the Dishonour among Thieves quest in the Java client has been fixed.
Lactarius mushrooms now have the same colour for the inventory model and in the Arc journal.

The Menaphos banner has been removed from the Desert Pantheon Aura interface.

Some environment issues have been fixed near the Abandoned mine.

Some lights have been removed from the celestial dragon dungeon.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


The 'prefer task' option on the slayer master reward interface will now appear disabled when the player does not have enough points.

An issue where the Mummy Champion challenge couldn't be completed when using fire spells has been fixed.

Slayer masters now state that corrupted creature tasks have no specific combat weakness.

Players are now told what type of logs are received while woodcutting.

The mention of a spider shield has been removed from the level 20 Magic skill guide.

Monkey knife fighters now drop camouflage fragments, drop strange rocks and can give the Thieving skill pet when thieving.

The ability to toggle gaining XP from Guthixian butterflies has been added. Speak to Orla at the Heart of Guthix memorial to toggle XP off.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Several music track unlock hints have been amended to no longer state that they are unlocked by going to various Rat Pit locations.

The Elite Varrock Achievement 'A Ton of Earth' has had its level requirement fixed and can now be pinned / removed correctly.

The "Stay Safe" and "Around the World in Six Ways" achievements have been added to the master quest cape achievement list.

Messages for daily challenge completion have been updated to account for the 3 different challenge mistresses.


Menaphos


An issue that was preventing The Magister from taking damage in his final phase has been resolved.

Defeating The Magister will now correctly display kills on the Adventurer's Log.

Skill guide entries for khopesh weaponry have been added.

Progress bars in the Menaphos reputation interface now show the percentage of the progress within the current tier, rather than showing progress from 0 reputation.

If a chest has been opened but not looted in a Shifting Tomb, the model has been changed to display loot inside the chest.

The Sophanem Slayer dungeon shortcut is no longer blocked.

City quest tasks in Menaphos can now be partially completed.

A new icon has been added to the minimap for opened sarcophagi in Shifting Tombs.

The Kharidian Desert members' information on the non-members world map has been updated to include Menaphos.

A number of typos in the Grand Library books have been fixed.

A typo formerly displayed when the feline akh cries for help has been fixed.

A typo with Urluk the camel has been fixed.

Reaching the next tier of reputation in a Menaphos faction will now unlock any previous rewards that were missed for that faction due to reputation refunds or retroactive additions.

A health counter has been added to the Queen Black Dragon for each of her phases.

The despawn sound of the Twitching Orb has been made slightly louder.

The Adventurer's log entry for completing the Kindred Spirits quest has been fixed.

Players can no longer use the T75 variant of Tuska Warpriest armour on non-member worlds.

The Zaros Godsword special attack will no longer hit players in the safe zone in Clan Wars.

The broken option about banking has been removed from Larry and Richard, since players cannot bank with them.

Players can now have multiple Quick Prayer presets, up to a maximum of 10, and they can all be drag and dropped onto the action bar.

A fairy ring has been added to the Kharazi Jungle with a code of CJS. 5 bittercap mushrooms are required to initially restore the fairy ring.

Magic and Ranged abilities now appear unavailable in the spell book and ability bar if the player does not have the runes or ammo to cast them.

Daemonheim task reward areas no longer require wearing the aura to enter.

Gemstone dragon slayer assignments are now slightly more common.

Clue scrolls will no longer be given for the Chaos Tunnels.

The clue scroll bridge puzzle sliding puzzle has had a duck added to help differentiate between some similar coloured tiles.

The Grand Exchange buy limit for bolas has been increased from 50 to 1000.

Upon joining a group, you will now be informed if you do not have the group chat window enabled. This message has a 5 minute cool down.

It is no longer possible to log out so quickly after gathering Cursed Energy.

The Attack/Strength and Defence/Constitution ability books can now be split regardless of the status of the action bar lock.

The 'Take BoB' option now works correctly with keybinds.

Giving items to a familiar now behaves properly when handling stackable items.

A rare issue where players weren't able to complete a Shifting Tomb due to an issue with a sarcophagus has been fixed.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Players can now use the Wilderness artefact (to enter the KBD lair from within the Lava Maze) to start a bossing instance. This change now means that Ironmen accounts can now complete the achievement 'I'm the King of the Wild!'.


Other


The phylactery drop rate from the Magister has been made slightly lower, but the individual scripture drop rates have been adjusted to give a minimum of 5 and a larger average.

Surge and Escape no longer appear to be disabled.

Weapons which provide their own ammo will now correctly highlight abilities as being available to use.

Magic skilling spells will no longer be greyed out when wielding a ranged weapon.

The Berserker auras now work correctly alongside the overload timer.

Individual ushabti that contain a soul can now have the soul emptied via a 'Release' option.

A warning message is now displayed when going below 100 ammo in a Tirannwn quiver.

Players now receive a warning message if a player has less than 500 runes in a rune pouch or less than 100 ammo in a Tirannwn quiver when starting a bossing instance.

Messages that mentioned 'less than 500 runes' or 'less than 60 minutes of charge' have been tweaked to now say 'fewer than'.

Blocking has been added to a rocky outcrop near salawa ahks.

Blocking has been added to house walls in the Imperial District of Menaphos.

Noted drops in the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon will no longer drop to the floor if there is an existing stack in the chest but no free spaces.

'Nardah' is now correctly spelled on the first page in the book 'From Nardah, With Love'

Players can now vote on an active poll after clicking on the 'Skip' button.

Camel warriors now die correctly when dropping a camel staff.

The archleather coif inventory icons have been centred.

The models for the Mahjarrat that appear in Missing, Presumed Death have been updated.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


An issue with hotkeys at the options given after crafting logs has been fixed, so that they are correctly mapped to 1, 2 and 3 on the keyboard.

The bracelet of clay will no longer consume charges while a stone spirit is actively banking ores when mining at the Ithell soft clay mine.

The descriptions of the bonus package and sword polishing kit in Elof's Reward Shop in the Artisans Workshop have been tweaked to state that they are not required for the trimmed completionist cape.

Mining Urns are now filled at the correct rate when using Crystallise.

Players can now burn driftwood on permanent bonfire structures.

The Skeletal Horror will now show the correct amount of life points in the preceding cutscene.

Shifting Tombs now allows Ironmen and Hardcore Ironmen to form groups and play the content. They cannot group with non-Ironman players.

Players can now get camouflage fragments from urns, chests, and doors in Pyramid Plunder.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Agoroth is now slightly weaker during the Shadow over Ashdale quest, so that he is now nicer to newer or lower-levelled players.

Players can now drag abilities onto locked action bar during Blood Pact while on Path System.

A line of dialogue has been added to the Rune Mysteries quest to suggest wearing magic armour when attacking the vortex if the player found they were missing spells due to wearing melee armour.

A spelling error in Another Slice of H.A.M. has been fixed.

Ariane's voiceover during Rune Mysteries no longer begins explaining the Grey Order immediately after explaining the Red Order.

Players can no longer bank with Arnold in Piscatoris before unlocking the town fully.

Nomad no longer ignores the player in the first fight of Sliske's Endgame.


Other


A cactus patch has been added to Menaphos, north-east of the Grand Pyramid in the Imperial district.

Six new hitsplats have been added for players in EoC. each choice can be selected via the Miscellaneous options window in 'Game Settings':

Legacy (This displays EoC numbers when hitting an enemy with an ability)



There is also the option to hide other players' ability damage hitsplats.

Players can now toggle which hitsplat to see for ability damage dealt in the three combat skills by both themselves or other players.

Players now receive a message for successfully adding an affinity spell to an opponent.

Graphical


Legacy-styled icons have been added to certain interfaces in Legacy interface mode, such as the Wardrobe.

The inventory models have been repositioned for low tier Dungeoneering coifs to better fit the inventory slots.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


The jellyfish guarding the seaweed patch on the sunken Tutorial Island has moved to the north-west corner of the seaweed so it no longer interferes with pathing between the seaweed and the oyster.

The following changes have been made to the Menaphos Slayer Dungeon sigils:

Maximum charges have been changed from 250 to 1000.

Recharging a sigil now only requires 1 Vital Spark per charge.

The drop rates on vital sparks has been improved.



Players can now correctly prestige corrupted and devourer creatures.

The Skill Guide now populates correctly when opening it after levelling up.

The Mazcab teleport tab now displays the correct runes to create it.



Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Claiming the 20% charged blood essence reward from Vanescula with another blood essence in the backpack will no longer set the charges on the first blood essence in the backpack.


Other


Additional information has been added to the Voice of Seren tooltips for some of the clans in Prifddinas.

Lucky Chaotic and Lucky Barrows equipment can now be reclaimed from Diango when keepsaked.

The combat variant of the spirit pack pig now correctly functions as a beast of burden.

Using the Freecam option while morphed will no longer freeze the camera.

A rare issue where mystery box rewards were dropped to the floor has been fixed.

The destination of the water altar teleport tab has been adjusted to account for the recent move.

Interacting with a Mazcab ability codex will now always display a choice menu when only one ability is available.

The scroll of quick teleportation now appears in the Dungeoneering skill guide.

The currency pouch favourite slots now work correctly again.

The Completsunist title now displays one consistent colour in all situations.

Graphical


A transparency issue with the beach grills has been fixed.

An issue with lighting in several Wilderness underground areas has been fixed.

The World Gate engram is no longer floating.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


Crystal skillchompas now require level 71 Woodcutting, Mining and Fishing to use.

Skillchompas now give the correct amount of XP when used from the backpack while woodcutting.

Players can now consistently teleport their filled urns with any Crafting level.

A second instance of Stanley Limelight will no longer spawn when Cabbage Facepunch Bonanza is spotlighted.

Ironmen can now play Stealing Creation, but are still unable to purchase any XP increasing rewards.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


The Runecrafting requirement for the 'Runespan V' daily challenge has been increased from 20 to 21, so it is now prioritised over the 'body runes' daily challenge at higher levels.

The Cooking requirement for the 'cook meat pizzas' daily challenge has been increased from 45 to 46, so it is now prioritised over the 'cook swordfish' daily challenge at higher levels.

The following adjustments have been made to the Demon Slayer quest:

The guidance in the Trial of Faith in the Silverlight crypt has been improved.

Dying in either crypt is now considered a safe death.

Auto-loot is no longer introduced during the quest.

Skeletons and cultists during the quest no longer drop bones.

Gideon Bede's combat level has been removed.



Slagilith can no longer be killed multiple times during One Small Favour.

A typo in Kharsai's dialogue during the Children of Mah quest has been fixed.

Several UI bugs in the zomboat scene concluding the 'A Clockwork Syringe' quest have been corrected.


Other


Extra dialogue has been added to Soothsayer Sybil about the one true, triumphant warden.

The Friends List and Friends Chat dividers will once again remember their positions upon logging in.

An option has been added to teleport inside of the door to Telos when using the Max Guild's bossing portal.

The Nex bossing portal will now teleport players outside of the main door if Ancient Ceremonial is equipped.

A coloured border has been added around the Dungeoneering map to help it stand out.

The transparency has been lowered on the Dungeoneering map.

The Dungeoneering map will now automatically update the player markers when teleporting to any gatestone or when home teleport is used.

Players who have been pinned under the icicle during the Nex: Angel of Death encounter will no longer get hit by the shadows during the final phase.

A sound effect has been added, played when a player is targeted by the elements in a Nex: Angel of Death encounter.

A disconnect that occasionally occurred when mining a crablet has been fixed.

It is now possible to check charges on silver jewellery when equipped.

Blocking has been added to a wall in Sophanem.

Plague jackets & trousers can now be stored in a Keepsake box.

Players will now see the correct number of PvP kills when examining another player's commemorative statue.

The Berserker auras will now reset the boosted stats on removal or log out, and a stat cap of 145 has been added when the auras are active.

Berserker essence once again boosts stats over 118 when using the berserker auras.

Players can now read augmented Virtus books.

Some typos on the Hefin and Crwys Voice of Seren tooltips have been fixed.

A missing word has been added in while when buying Death's deal as a reaper reward.

The Call Pet button on the Pets interface is now consistent with the rest of the interface.

A number of typos in Carnillean Rising's pet wolf interactions have been fixed.

A typo that previously dislayed when a Deathtouched bracelet degrades has been fixed.

The 'Crack All' option on crystal geodes and mystic nests will now correctly display the type of nest being searched.

An issue where the "Give BoB" option on the summoning icon displayed as "Take BoB" has been fixed.

Resolved an issue with the last used quick prayer option not working correctly when in Legacy interface mode.

The Piety, Rigour and Augury prayers now correctly light up on the interface when all requirements are met.

Quick teleporting in Dungeoneering will no longer use quick teleport charges.

Ninja fixes


The Chat Box now has various options to choose its display mode.

A junk refiner can now be used all in one, and will adjust to display how many components a player can receive based on charges and junk available.

The Wilderness Sword 4 can now be reclaimed from Mr Ex in Edgeville for 100,000 coins.

Chuck's dialogue tree has been reorganised and updated to be more user-friendly for the Penguin quests and Penguin Hide and Seek.

Players can now use surge within the Telekinetic Teleport room of the Mage Training Arena.

Combat training dummies can now be converted into other forms of combat dummy at a rate of 3 to 2, similar to skilling dummies.

It is now possible to quick-respond to various Slayer-related Quick Chat messages.

The Twitch tab on the Social interface has been removed when using the NXT client.

The Menaphos VIP area has been added to the list of skill portal locations in the Max Guild area of Prifddinas.

Ethereal head pieces now have a 'Withdraw essence' option when worn, similar to the wicked hood.

The confirmation on the Wizards' Tower teleport has been removed.

Ethereal head pieces now correctly identify if a player has a wicked outfit set stored inside a player-owned house.

Clan Wars now offers the option to toggle various accept aid options, seren spells, and has more viewing orbs in larger arenas.

The Skeletal Horror can now be reset using Weekly D&D tokens.

The Runemetrics telemetry display is no longer displayed by default when quick-loading a predefined interface layout.

During the Ithell Voice of Seren, the clay rocks will not deplete.


Ninja free-to-play changes


Free players can now ask Wizard Jalarast in the Wizards' Tower to make splitbark armour with the correct ingredients.

Hollow bark, fine cloth, and snake skin/hide are now tradeable by free players.

Splitbark armour is now equippable and tradeable by free players.

Snakeskin armour, turoth boots and basilisk boots are now equippable by free players.

Crossbows and bolts up to and including rune can now be equipped by free players (unless they are locked behind members content).

A larger variety of combat abilities have been made available to use on free worlds.

Free players may now use the price checker to check prices of members items.
