Wow Jaggex has finally pushed me over the edge!!!!!!! Ive put up with laggy client now for months.
Latest patch notes have completely thrown me out, and have a black client.

Perhaps they are in league with the devil.

PATCH NOTES 1st August 2016


Graphical


•Fixed an issue with the textures on the crystal peacock, and its appearance in minimum detail graphics mode.

•Fixed a minor stretching issue when the crystal peacock performs its special attack.



Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


•Players with cooked chicken or cooked meat in the first slot of their backpack will no longer be prevented from cooking when clicking on a fire or range.

•Rick Turpentine will once again appear in court and not skip his hearing (despite being on Jed's pirate ship).



Quests, Challenges and Achievements


•Guard Captain Roarkwin in Port Sarim jail now has more sensible chat at various 'Tales from the Arc' miniquest states.



The Arc


•Rosie has been feeling generous lately and so will now allow players to grab 5 supplies from her crate for free, every day.

•The initial cost to purchase Uncharted Isle supplies has been reduced from 50 chimes to 40. This can be lowered even further by purchasing 'Supplies Cost Reduction' upgrades, to as low as 20 chimes per supply (previously 40).

•Choosing to "“Buy All” from Rosie the Chandler in Waiko now correctly buys all the supplies you can afford with the chimes in your backpack.

•The following Arc resources had their base costs adjusted, which can be increased further with Sell Price Increase upgrades:


â—¦Shiny shell chippings now sell for 2 chimes.

â—¦Alaea salt now sells for 5 chimes.

â—¦Tortle bowls now sell for 9 chimes.

â—¦Fish oil now sells for 9 chimes.

â—¦Shiny tortle bowls now sell for 12 chimes.

â—¦Wobbegong oil now sells for 12 chimes.

â—¦Arc gumbo now sells for 45 chimes.

â—¦Shark soup now sells for 50 chimes.


•The 'Commodity Sell Price Increase' upgrade now costs 8,000 chimes, down from 12,000. Players who have already purchased the upgrade will have their surplus chimes refunded after logging in.

•Teletabs to Waiko market are now available from the Waiko reward shop. They are not consumed if you are already on the island of Waiko, and can be equipped in the pocket slot.

•Tarpon, seerfish and sillago models had their colours adjusted slightly in order to differentiate between them easier.

•Dwarven ramhammers now work with salty and alaea crablets.

•Removed some delays when placing a Tortle trap.

•The respawn rate for ornate tortles has been increased slightly.

•Driftwood is now converted to damaged driftwood when lit, to prevent disrupting Firemaking and picking up the driftwood to progress collect driftwood contracts.

•Changed Sojobo's secondary click option from "Get contract" to "Contracts" to avoid confusion.

•The Dwarven instinct aura now works correctly with crablets and tortles.

•All Arc raw fish and sharks can now be stored in the Fish Flingers tacklebox.

•The Arc contract scroll can now be equipped in the pocket slot.

•Altered the tooltips on the Uncharted Isles travel interface to reflect the number of rare resources players can hope to gain from spending those hard earned supplies: Small = 0 to 1, Medium = 1 to 2 and Large = 2 to 3.

•Tortle and shiny tortle bowls now have a 'Mix' option to allow easier making of soup and stew.

•The examine message on driftwood bonfires no longer references willow logs.

•The examine text of tormented souls in the Arc has been corrected.

•Players can now use the Waiko bank chest from any direction.

•Removed some unnecessary blocking on the large bottom steps on the stairs near the bank chest in Waiko.

•Kicking Milky Joel will now make him roll correctly across the sand, rather than through it.

•Bamboo and golden bamboo are now listed under the Trees skill guide category in the skill guide rather than the tools category.

•Items will no longer sink slightly into stairs on Aminishi.

•The ship docked at Whale's Maw is no longer hovering above the water.

•Reduced the clickzone on the Waiko Khan's house.

•Corrected the fishing skillguide entry for Tarpon which listed them as Talpon.

•Changed various references from tortoise to tortle.

•The Dealer for the Jed miniquest now has her correct name displayed in chat.

•Milky Joel now deals with his abandonment issues in a more appropriate manner.

•Corrected some typos for the Arc castaways.

•Removed the examine option from treasure chests and treasure along the Whale's Maw coast.

•The player's own ship (not rowboat) in the Uncharted Isles now has shadows and reflections.

•Smoothed out some underwater issues on uncharted islands where raised bumps were appearing.

•Eastern soldiers, Gu ronin, Death Lotus rogues and Seasinger priestesses now have slightly lowered stats.

•Hermit crabs no longer visit the waters surrounding the Uncharted Isles.

•Players can no longer walk into the stairs of one of Waiko's huts.

•Fixed some typos in Sojobo's dialogue and in the Path of the Dragon scripture.

•Players going on median expeditions (12 supplies) will now always find at least 1 rare resource node, and players going on long voyages (25 supplies) will now always find at least 2 rare resources nodes. Please note, we are aware of an issue where wobbegongs have a very small chance of not being guaranteed which is currently being investigated.

•Aminishi NPCs now have an uncommon chance to drop a handful of chimes.

•Chimes are now occasionally dropped by NPCs found on uncharted islands.

•Wobbegongs no longer have the small chance of being unreachable.

•The issue where in rare cases high-level resources on uncharted islands were depleting after just one harvest, has now been fixed.



NXT


•NPC's that flicker have been fixed to a different size.

•Compatibility issues such as broken shadows, objects disappearing and crashes with various third party software - including AMD Gaming Evolved (aka Raptr), Plays.TV and Bandicam – have been fixed.

•Sky flickering due to SSAO in some areas has been prevented.

•Made re-spawned implings easier to click.



Java


•Fixed a bug where the client could think a player was facing the wrong way.



Other


•Player with the 15-year emote unlocked can now perform the 2010 variant.

•Chronicle tables have now been moved into various pubs across Gielinor.

•Once it has gained access to the ability, Telos can now use freedom in all phases.

•After reaching 250 enrage, if Telos uses Freedom during its final phase, the boss will gain the same 6-second stun immunity buff that the player version of Freedom grants.

•Free players can no longer select members' skills above level 5 when choosing which skill to gain XP in from lamps/stars.

•Removed Umi and Boat to the Arc's reward chest from Port Sarim.

•The Raids and Tuska reward shop items now correctly display their currency text once again.

•The holiday portal in Prifddinas is once again inactive.

•Removed cannon fire audio from Port Sarim.

•Jack of Trades will now correctly state which skills the player still needs to gain XP in.

•Players may now auto-redeem prismatic lamps and stars into Invention XP on Treasure Hunter via the options cog in the top right corner of the interface.

•T85, T90 and a few other augmented items will no longer create a copy when keepsaked.

•Prices for broken versions of items acquired within The Heart of Gielinor have bee corrected.



Ninja Fixes


•Made the following adjustments to Strykewyrms:


â—¦Jungle Strykewyrms now have 8,500 lifepoints (up from 6,000), a max hit of 643 (up from 268) and greater accuracy.

â—¦Desert Strykewyrms now have 10,000 lifepoints (up from 8,000), a max hit of 710 (up from 296) and greater accuracy.

â—¦Ice Strykewyrms now have 25,000 lifepoints (up from 15,000), a max hit of 729 (up from 304) and greater accuracy.

â—¦Increased the amount of Slayer XP given by Ice strykewyrms.

â—¦Players can now investigate Strykewyrm mounds from a distance, allowing players to stomp a mound when using ranged and magic combat styles.

â—¦The delay in switching from mound to Strykewyrm has been reduced.

Graphical


•An agility shortcut icon has been added to the log crossing a river in Tirranwn.

•There is no longer a delay between Ahrim's fire wave spell visibly hitting the player and damage being dealt.

•Lokar Searunner's chathead has been fixed.

•The vial is now held correctly during the 'enhanced potion making' animation.

•A stretching issue with the female Clawdia hat has been fixed.

•A stretching issue with the 'Drake wings' wing override has been fixed.

•Players can now see more of Prifddinas while inside the Tower of Voices after Within the Light, when using the NXT client.

•The click zones and bounding boxes of golden warblers, crimson swifts, copper longtails, tropical wagtails and cerulean twitches, making them easier to click on.

•Players can no longer see into map squares surrounding the chaos giants' tunnel in NXT.

•The 4-dose perfect juju Dungeoneering potion is now using the correct colours.



Skills, D&Ds & Minigame


•A bank healing area has been added to the Pest Control island bank.

•Players can now empty antipoison potions within Daemonheim.

•The reference to completing the Rune Mysteries quest in the Mining skillguide for Rune and Pure essence has been removed.

•It is no longer possible to repeatedly siphon augmented degrade to dust armour when it has no remaining charge.




The Arc


•Arc-related phrases have been added to QuickChat. Some of the phrases include:

â—¦The amount of chimes accumulated and contracts completed for the day.

â—¦Upgrades that have been unlocked.

â—¦The total number of resources gathered.

â—¦The total number of islands visited.




•Strange and golden rocks can now be found when performing skilling activities within The Arc and Uncharted Isles.

•Tortles are no longer referred to as Tortoises in the Hunter skill guide.




Other


•The Ignore list now displays an icon when a player has recently changed their display name.

•Casting the Shield Dome spell will now cancel channeled abilities correctly.

•Clones summoned via the Staff of Sliske special attack no longer wander off when used in PvP situations.

•The Stat Spy spell will no longer disappear if the spell is cast while spellbook swapping from the Ancient spellbook.

•Achto armour pieces, Lil' Tuzzy & Razorback gauntlets now appear on the Adventurer's Log.

•The damage bonus given from the Achto armour set effect has been updated to rely on the number of pieces currently equipped.

•Loot from the Giant Mole is now correctly distributed while Group Lootshare is active.

•Players can no longer use a phoenix familiar to gain instant restoration of attack, ranged and magic skills.

•The cooking range at the Piscatoris Fishing Colony now has a Cook option and minimap icon.

•Locations with a Cook option now show a Cooking cursor.

•The retro skillcape toggle now consistently works.

•Rightie on Jatiszo will now correctly reference the player's gender.

•Lord Iban now has a full stop at the end of his examine.

•A typo of 'lectern' seen during Lunar Diplomacy has been fixed.

•The Legends' Quest furnace no longer spells 'separate' incorrectly.

Graphical


•Based on your feedback, the Flourishing Fairy teleport now uses the colour set on the outfit when the outfit is not equipped.

•The shape puzzle from the Eyes of Glouphrie quest has had some colours tweaked to be more accessible for players with colour blindness.

•Moved a piece of scenery to prevent you getting blocked occasionally when teleporting directly to the centre of the abyss.

•Ensured that the light and dark form curse visual effects are cleared when leaving Troll Invasion and Daemonheim.



Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


•Amended the fail rates for the Wilderness agility course. It is no longer possible to fail at Level 99 Agility.

•Cursed energies now convert into other energy types at 100 to 150 per action, rather than 10 to 15.

•Training at the cursed divination colony whilst under the effect of the divination cache buff will now grant the correct experience.

•Enriched cursed wisps can now have their spring duration extended by offering a cursed memory or enriched cursed memory.

•Corrected the Herblore level requirement to create unfinished bloodweed potions.

•The Elder Divination Outfit's colony teleport no longer shows a Wilderness warning for every colony.

•Familiars no longer berate their owner when they fail to pickpocket a rogue.

•Standing in the bank with the Fortitude prayer active now heals during a duel for the correct amount.

•The Barbarian Assault tutorial can no longer be started with a follower present.

•It is once again possible to obtain a ranged skillcape shard.

•The camera no longer continues shaking after sinking the Fishing Trawler.



Quests, Challenges and Achievements


•TThe Wilderness sword tier 4 can now be used to teleport from up to level 30 wilderness.

•TEnsured that Kolodion doesn't rudely stop talking when asking about task system rewards.

•Added the missing Woodcutting requirement to the Smooth Bakriminel task.

•Added the Slayer requirement to the Lava Palava task.

•Checking someone else's trap no longer completes the Doyouthinkhesaurus task.

•Added a missing step to the Liquid Luck task hints.

•Increased the deathkeep values for Wilderness swords from 2k to match the reclaim costs.

•Equipped Wilderness swords now have a right-click Edgeville teleport option.

•Fixed a typo in The Light Within quest.

•Corrected the spelling of Dimintheis' name during the quest Dimension of Disaster.



The Arc


•You will now find even more items washed up on uncharted islands, based on the island's size. Logging out will still wash unpicked items away.

•You will now be able to find some different items washed up on uncharted islands, such as fruit or bones.

•Ornate tortles will now respawn instead of normal tortles when ornate tortles are caught, if the two species are on the same island.

•Shark's tooth necklaces now give 5% additional Fishing experience whilst fishing wobbegongs.

•You can now use surge on uncharted islands.

•Signs of the porter no longer transport sea salt and alaea salt to the bank.

•The Waiko teletab is now visually different to the Watchtower tab.

•The messages you receive when claiming an island to clarify that claiming another will NOT refresh the daily cap on claimed islands have been refined.

•Claiming a new uncharted island will now allow you to exhaust it correctly, even if their previously claimed island had been exhausted.

•Spam-clicking on salty crablets no longer causes them to deplete too quickly.

•Fixed an issue with wobbegongs respawning on login if they had been previously depleted.

•Wobbegongs will no longer remain visible after depletion if they are very far away from the shore.

•The destroy option on Seiryu's fang now works.

•The player now states the correct amount of fish oil outstanding to the Aminishi moai when hiring the crew during the Head of the Family miniquest.

•A missing beard has been added to a cyclops labourer.



Other


•Steve the monkey butler will now ask to take un-noted logs to the sawmill for the usual fee.

•Free players no longer receive members' objects from looting the muddy chest.

•It is no longer possible to keep a camouflage potion's effect longer than intended.

•Added the music track "Arise Legend" to the Legends' Guild.

•Replaced several hundred synthesized looping sound effects with more realistic non-synthesized ones.

•Blocked some rocks in Lletya that could be walked into.

•A number of punctuation marks weren't being recognised by the game and have been updated.

•Fixed some chat with Oldak when asking about "“Technology” before having unlocked Invention.

•The bonecrusher now works correctly when hunting pawyas.

•Adjusted the Helwyr teleport from the Max Guild portal to ensure that it no longer places you on the wrong side of the barrier.

•Fixed some environment blocking issues around the Prifddinas light rift.



NXT


•Fixed a bug where certain objects would be incorrectly hidden when textures were turned off.

•Improved world map stability.

•Numerous sky texture quality improvements have been implemented including fixing crashes solid white sky in certain areas on low-end graphics cards and putting in place foundations for higher resolution textures.

•Fixed Lighting for Scrying and Building Mode in a player-owned house.

•Particles should no longer appear under a location instead of on it.



Ninja Fixes


•The Hero, Adventures & Powers parent interfaces can now be kept open during combat.

•The Quest List may now be used as a smaller child window. Each quest opens the relevant entry on the parent interface as usual.

•Duke Horacio has moved the two families displaced by the Battle of Lumbridge into better accommodation across the river, away from the threat of the goblins.

•The magical defence wardsmen, hired to defend the castle during the Battle of Lumbridge have been dismissed.

•Now that the threats posed by the Battle of Lumbridge are long gone, the elite Lumbridge guardsmen have been reassigned to protect the main bridge from goblins.

•The Doomsayer, fearing his doom at the hands of goblins, has moved to the (probably) less doomy side of the river.

•The 'manage-crisis' option on Duke Horacio in Lumbridge has been removed.

•A duplicate quest icon on the world map for A Void Dance has been removed.

•Updated a door in Draynor Manor to match the other doors in the mansion.

•Removed a bannister in a Lunar Isle house to prevent players from getting stuck.

•The red sandstone to the east of Sophanem is now marked with a Mining site map icon.

•A charged wicked pouch is now correctly recognised by the make-x system.

•The D&D tracker no longer gives incorrect information with the Rune Goldberg machine.

•The Isafdar log balance shortcut in the Agility skillguide now filters to Shortcuts instead of Areas.

•A camera issue in the Burthorpe Defend the Gatehouse tutorial has been corrected.

•Clarence's body parts can no longer be alchemised or disassembled. Let the poor wizard rest in pieces.



Quests, Challenges and Achievements


•Updated the boss's combat level in the quest journal for Grim Tales.

•Removed a duplicate Ariane and Xenia from near Wizards' Tower bridge.



Other


•The rainbow kite is now a 2-handed weapon, so can no longer be sheathed if equipped with an off-hand weapon.

•Obtaining a large shell while playing Beach Ball Rolling will no longer cause players to become stuck.

•Players can now use the Prifddinas holiday portal to teleport to the beach.

•Players are now able to switch between revolution and full manual mode whilst engaged in combat.

•Familiars will no longer attempt to retaliate to players who are not in combat with you in PvP situations.

•Fixed an issue where the Transfigure ability would cap at healing 5,000 life points, this has been increased to a new maximum of 32,000.

•Players may now right click on the Wilderness obelisks to choose their destination. The destination list is in Wilderness-level depth order. The left-click option remains a random destination.

•Players can no longer enter the Chaos Altar when teleblocked or in combat.

•Added an entry for 'Clean Bloodweed' at Bob Barter in the Grand Exchange and Rhobert Dail in Prifddinas.

•Fixed a typo in the dialogue with Erskine.

•Reclaimable weapons which can be used to generate offhand variants, such as Serpentine weapons, now have an appropriate reclaim cost.

•Summoning familiars now follow the player's XP settings in PvP combat.

•Slicing watermelons will no longer cause a delay.

•Corrected some blocking issues on the Void Knight Outpost.

•Removed blocking from a small square on Waiko.

•The black parasol recolour message has been added to the spam filtered chat.

•Corrected a typo in Durzag's entry to the Beasts tab learning text.

•Added full stop to the examine text for the Old Mine entrance.

•Fixed a typo in the rammed bridge strength challenge in Dungeoneering.

•Fixed a spelling error in Veliaf's chat.

•Corrected a typo in when speaking to Vanescula in River of Blood.

•Fixed a typo ('invunerability') in the Fight Kiln.

•Fixed a typo in the tooltip for the "Buy warning value" option under "Shop warning options" in the miscellaneous gameplay settings.

•Fixed a typo when claiming a Sliskelion XP lamp with Sliskelion pieces in the bank.



Ninja Fixes


•Made changes to rune dragons' phase transitions to allow players to continue attacking throughout. Damage that overshoots the lifepoint thresholds will no longer be healed back, but that hit, and hits during transition, are reduced to 10% power.

•Increased legacy damage modifier from 2.1 to 2.3 in PvM, causing greater damage in legacy combat mode. We've made these changes to account for increases in potential in EoC since Legacy's release.

•Reduced the chance of Treus Dayth teleporting during combat.

•The nightmare muspah and light creature familiars now have combat versions.

•The Crackling perk will now deal damage based on your main-hand damage style when it activates.

•Made the order of Analyse & Disassemble consistent across all spellbooks.

•The tanning hides process in Fur 'n' Seek has been improved to be faster and require less input.

•Non-members will no longer receive Daily Challenges in a members' skill.

•Reshuffled the completionist cape's worn options, placing Max Guild at the top.

•A beast of burden's inventory is now dropped to the floor when a player dies. Tradeable items will appear to other players after a minute has passed.

•The following may now be stored in a keepsake box:

Interactions within the Divination cache have been made less clunky.

It is now possible to reset the Divination cache minigame with D&D tokens even if you've not reached your daily points limit.

It is now possible to enter a Divination cache with a familiar summoned, they will automatically hide themselves.

When playing Divination cache, jars which vanish after you've clicked them will now attempt to redirect you to a new one nearby.

Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


It is now possible to view Deathmatch rewards from the sign-up board in the lobby.

The supply table in Deathmatch now also offers Deathmatch overload salves and Deathmatch super restores.

Deathmatch no longer takes summoning level into consideration.

The multiway zone in Deathmatch has been made smaller and indicators have been added to the arena.

Prayers are now deactivated when leaving games of Deathmatch.

An option to disable your taunt has been added to the death taunt menu.

The chicken power-up in Deathmatch will now spawn more chickens again correctly if the game had ended before the previous buff had worn off.

The Deathmatch scoreboard interface will now display the close button more reliably.

Deathmatch titles will now use the grey colour as shown when unlocking the title instead of orange when activated.

Doomsayer settings for wilderness entry will now be taken into account when attempting to teleport with ancient teleport tablets into the Wilderness.

Destroying a progress hat from the Mage Training Arena no longer deletes pizazz points from the currency pouch.

Players will no longer be told they missed out on gold tickets due to a full currency pouch in Castle Wars if they lost or the game had too few people to award tickets.

Players can now add their Soul Capes, obtained via hard mode Nomad, to the Cape Rack in their Player-owned house.

Fixed the behaviour of Telos and the Heart of Gielinor bosses to no longer punish players unnecessarily.

The email address field on the "“Account Create” interface will now accept various international characters.

It is no longer possible to move with the customisation dressing room active on a player.

The Twitch tab in the "“Community” interface has been disabled in NXT.

An issue that was stopping a Deathmatch game from ending correctly has been fixed.

Fixed another issue that was stopping a Deathmatch game from ending correctly.

A means to kick players out of a stalled finished Deathmatch game has been added.

The end-of-game behaviour in Deathmatch has been altered to ensure safe death still runs once the game is over.

Fixed an occasional disconnect when killing a player in Deathmatch.

Telos will no longer drop a rock on a player who has not engaged with him fast enough after waking him.

Telos will no longer drop a rock after he has completed using a tendril on a player.

The Telos rockfall mechanic in phase 4 has been made be less punishing.

Corrected some currency pouch logic to make the Eastern Lands reward shops work.

Corrected the logic when a player has more than 2.1b coins between their backpack and currency pouch when opening a shop.

Another issue that was stopping Deathmatch games from starting has been fixed.

Fixed some more Eastern Land reward shops.

Some more changes to Telos to reduce the effect of the anti-safe spot changes have been made.

Completing an Arc miniquest now adds earned chimes to the currency pouch.

Hard mode Nomad's phase changing code has been altered to ensure he spawns with the correct amount of lifepoints.

Dying at the same time as a Nomad phase change no longer sends players out of bounds in Death's Office.

Vindicta & Helwyr no longer stack enrage when at full health.


Ninja Fixes


The current enrage for Araxxor and highest & current enrage for Telos have been added to the "“Beasts” interface in their appropriate tab.

The current Telos killstreak & enrage is now displayed in the "“Loot” interface.

The Wildywyrm now appears on the world map, if one has appeared.

Family crest gauntlets can now be switched to another type with a right-click option. Switching will cost the usual 25k coins.

Using a tool gizmo on an unused rod-o-matic now converts it to the used version and immediately adds the perks.

Fishing XP is now redeemed automatically when purchased through the Prifddinas waterfall shop. A new "“Buy-all” option allows players to redeem up to 1000 purchases in one go.

The Smoking Kills combat requirement has been changed to a recommended combat level.

PATCH NOTES 10/10/2016

The Arc & Uncharted Isles


XP per hour from named-island resources has been increased to 40%.

Wobbegong XP per hour has been increased by 10%.

XP for crafting tortle bowls has been increased to 75 XP, up from 10.

XP for crafting ornate tortle bowls has been increased to 100 XP, up from 10.

XP for fletching bamboo bundles has been increased to 100 XP, up from 10.

The amount of chimes gained per hour from named-island resources has been lowered by 10% to 15%.

Seerfish/Sillago now require levels 90/91/92 Fishing, down from 92/94.

The spirit dragon pet is now a companion pet and can be used to override Summoning familiars.

Boni has been feeling generous and now gives flags out for free.

XP lamps have been reduced in price.

Player-owned port resources and trade goods have been reduced in price.

Golden idols are now stackable. Players who have been lucky enough to find a pair can now purchase an idol crabletine tradeable pet.

Some of Waiko's and Cyclosis' villagers' pockets can now be picked. They seem to have a rather short attention-span and will tend to forget about your thieving ways within 5 minutes.

Shark soup and Arc gumbo now require sliced wushrooms instead of wushrooms.

Different kinds of wushrooms can be sliced to use. Players who had wushrooms before the update had theirs converted to sliced wushrooms.

Uncharted isle NPCs now drop chimes in increased amounts as well as some flavour items.

Chime payouts from contracts have been increased.

"Collect" type contracts had the number items required lowered.

Players are now able to find supply crates on uncharted isles.

Low-tier resources will now stay on claimed islands, even when logging out.

Players can now toggle receiving named-island contracts if they meet all the skill requirements for uncharted isle skilling. Contracts that can be found on both named and uncharted isles will still be offered.

Players who have completed all of the Tengu's player-owned port clue voyages and have received a mask of gu can now purchase the 'Waiko Guru' unlock for 100 chimes. This unlock halves the cost of re-rolling contracts.

The unlock to access the Waiko's bank chest has been removed.

Seiryu's claw now has a lootbeam regardless of lootbeam value set.

Daily contract re-rolls now increase in price by 10 chimes, instead of doubling in price.

Rosie has lowered her supply costs! Supplies are now 25 chimes each (down from 40) and supply cost reduction upgrades can now reduce this to as low as 10 chimes per supply (down from 20).

Rosie's crate of supplies (5 free supplies daily) now holds up to 50 supplies not to penalise those who forget to pick theirs up each day.

To celebrate the opening of the second set of islands, Rosie's crate is initially full for everyone.

Long voyages now cost 20 supplies (down from 25).

Median Expeditions can now have 2 to 3 rare resources (up from 1 to 2).

Long Voyages can now have 3 to 5 rare resources (up from 2 to 3).

Players who had islands claimed prior the update can now find new resources on their island.

The supply cap now starts at 200 (up from 100) and increases up to 1,000 with upgrades (up from 500).

An issue where an island would have less rare resources than intended has been fixed.

Arc Gumbo now sells for 65 chimes (up from 45).

Shark soup now sells for 85 chimes (up from 50).

Non-stacking Arc resources such as fish, bamboo, soups and gumbo can now be withdrawn in noted form.

Players will no longer find wushrooms washed ashore on uncharted isles. Sea shells can now be found instead.
The price of some 'Functional' and 'Decorative' customisations for claimed islands has been reduced.

A new flotsam merchant on Cyclosis purchases driftwood and sea shells for few more chimes.

A new food merchant on Cyclosis purchases sliced wushrooms for an extra chime.

A new bamboo merchant on Tuai Leit purchases bundles of bamboo for an extra chime.

Players can now head to Cyclosis, the Islands that Once Were Turtles, Goshima and Tuai Leit.

Teleport tablets for named-islands have been added to Waiko rewards shop.

Sharkborne has been out exploring and has found himself a new pet, X-Runes.

Sojobo now offers a new type of contract for players with 90+ in the related skill. If the player has received such contract, expect to worship shrines, pick safes, hatch eggs and few other short-interaction activities.

Salty crabletines have invaded Cyclosis. They are the slightly less rewarding relatives of salty crablets.

There are now six new mini-quests to complete. After completing everything up to and including Jed Hunter (from Arc Batch 1), speak to Ichi on Cyclosis to begin the latest adventures. You'll need to have unlocked Cyclosis via a Player-owned port to access the island.

Uncharted isle supplies have been added to the currency pouch.

Bad luck protection has been added to the 'Spiritual Enlightenment' mini-quest lore book drops. Players who defeat more NPCs during the miniquest will be more likely to receive the drop during their game session.

The Crablet sandpit has been removed from Burthorpe.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


Count Check has taken up a new residence in the Stronghold of Security. Thank you for getting involved with Customer Support week!

NPCs that scale to your level will now award combat and item experience.

Players will now see a message when acquiring the 50th Sliskelion piece, or if they would have acquired another piece but haven't traded in the 50 pieces yet.

It is no longer possible to prevent the Conquest turn timer from going down.

Replaced several mentions of "The Crucible" with "Deathmatch".


Other


Players levelling their Sunfury armour will now see an improvement in points while in combat, using a bonecrusher.

Removed a dummy item from the Grand Exchange.

Corrected a typo with brian points in the expanded currency pouch interface.

Players can no longer advance their computer clocks to alter which banner they see in the lobby.

PATCH NOTES 17th October 2016


Graphical


The font size of map labels has been changed to minimise overlapping.

Tradeable parasols are now hidden while performing skill animations.

Improved Divination animations to no longer stop and start playing erroneously when gathering energy from wisps for an extended period of time.

The small jewellery icons from the Deadliest Catch quest have been fixed.

The ransacked room ring is now more visible on the floor.

Slayer rings have been mirrored so they're more easily distinguishable from rings of wealth.

The graphics used on the balloon network puzzle during Enlightened Journey have been reworked, to help users with poor performance complete the puzzle.

The wall kit sinking in the Hollows cave has been fixed.

Blocking has been added to a rock on White Wolf Mountain.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


The wording on the Hunter skill training dummy has been changed to refer to catching instead of pruning.

Uri will not longer take more than one costume-skipping ticket.

Any TokKul rewards from Rush of Blood are now added directly to the currency pouch when claimed.

Logging out with unclaimed loot from Rush of Blood now correctly prioritises the bank, followed by the backpack.

Pizazz points are no longer lost when reclaiming a lost progress hat.

Added the ability to reset the Memory of Nomad with weekly reset tokens.

Eniola will no longer let players use bank services for free.

It is no longer possible to place combat dummies on top of portable skilling locations.

Slayer XP rewarded from completing Reaper tasks as an Ironman is no longer halved.


Lucky challenges have been disabled as part of ongoing initiatives to streamline the early game experience.


Combat


Intercept can no longer be cast on an enemy player in the Castle Wars or Soul Wars minigames.

Halberds no longer require a Strength level to wield - only and Attack level.

Ability damage for level 1 ranged weapons has been increased.

An extraneous full stop has been removed from the Concentrated Blast ability tooltip.

Partly-used inferior Ports armour can now be alchemised. The amount of coins received will scale down at 50% charge and below.

The inferior leviathan ring and reefwalker's cape now degrade by 10% when looted from gravestones, in line with other degrade-to-dust gear.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Vanstorm's maximum life points have been boosted in both Branches of Darkmeyer and Dominion Tower. His bloodvelds' life points have been boosted in Dominion Tower only.

The interface and borders from the mausoleum statue interfaces used in Priest in Peril have been updated.

A typo in Nomad's Requiem has been fixed.


The Arc


Choppable bamboo can now be found on Tuai Leit.

A typo in the Awah Guan examine text has been fixed.

A bakami will no longer spawn within an unreachable spot on Waiko.

(Ba)kami no longer glitch when under the effect of a holding (bind, snare, entangle) spell.

A typo in the Ghosts from the Past miniquest has been corrected.

The Arc contract 'Cook sliced mushrooms' has been corrected to 'Slice mushrooms'.

Receiving 'Slice mushroom' contracts now requires 90 Farming as well as 86 Cooking.

It is no longer possible to click on an already depleted rumberry bush.

The number of bakami spawns has been reduced.

Crablets now have all of their feet on the ground when walking on hills.

Crablets' glow will now appear even with textures turned off.

The chickens on Waiko have been replaced with pekin that drop appropriately poultry-esque Arc resources.

Undead chicken on Goshima now lay pickled eggs.

The Tuai Leit moai has been renamed to match other moai.

Jacob's note from the Damage Control miniquest is now readable, and can be reviewed from a player-owned house bookcase after completing Damage Control.

By player request, A sense of closure has been removed from the Final Destination miniquest reward list.

A heal area has been added to the Cyclosis banker.

During the Ghosts from the Past miniquest, Gully's critical-path dialogue option 'Nothing' has been changed to 'Enough questions. Let's move on.'

The snufftruffle icon in the Arc journal now matches the inventory icon.

Some additional rocks formerly on Waiko have been removed.

The symbol for 'Uncharted isle supplies' in the currency pouch has been corrected.

Wobbegong oil and shiny tortle shell bowl transmutation now transmutes ten items at a time.

Transmuting driftwood into sliced mushrooms now consumes 2 driftwood instead of 5 driftwood.

The click radius of chimes and sea shells found on uncharted isles has been increased, making them easier to interact with.

Tortles on uncharted isles now have a reduced wander range, preventing overlapping and collision issues.

Augmented pickaxes no longer show both on the player's back and in their hand when mining crablets.


Other


Barrows bobbleheads now belong in the Pets interface. Access them from the Boss Pets filter on the Customisations interface.

The lootbeam minimum value is now based upon the players total level:

1,000gp at below 100 total level.

10,000gp between 100 and 499 total level.

20,000gp between 500 and 999 total level.

50,000gp above 1000 total level.



The demonic skull is now always lost on death when dying in PvP situations.

The Items Kept on Death interface will now correctly display the right items being kept with large amounts of stackable items.

The Wilderness Sword can now consistently locate the Wildywyrm.

The audio around Port Sarim once again plays correctly.

The Skilling backpack buff no longer disappears when logging out.

Several force-walk tiles in the Wilderness Agility Dungeon have been removed, as they were annoying adventurers trying to head straight for the ladder to leave.

A 'do not translate' item has been removed from the Grand Exchange.

The Wise Old Man can now remove books obtained from the River of Blood quest.

Players will no longer get stuck in the water when taking the broken pier shortcut.

Remaining beach ice creams and sunscreen have been removed.

Ninja fixes


Interfaces will no longer move slightly when logging in.

It is now possible to view your opponent's backpack and worn items in the Duel challenge interface.

Life point values for Stronghold of Security creatures have been scaled down, bringing them back to more competitive non-member training levels.

Non-members can now access the Giant Mole, KBD and the Games Room via the Grouping System.

It is now possible to destroy auras which aren't on cooldown and reclaim them from the Loyalty Store off cooldown, ready for use.

Having insufficient runes no longer unsets any autocasts that are active.

A keybind slot is now available for familiar details.

Familiar details are now available from the Powers dropdown menu on the Ribbon.

There is no longer a Magic level requirement for using quick teleports.

If toggled on, Doomsayer notifications (such as Warbands and Guthixian Caches) will no longer be caught by the chat spam filter.

The character rotating cursor will no longer cover the Ironman Mode dropdown menus in the Character Creation window.

The option not to confirm use of skill-specific lamps has been added to the Gameplay Settings interface.

Opening a skill guide within Daemonheim now jumps to the Dungeoneering filter automatically, where applicable.

Player-owned house bookcases now have a 'search' option.

A spirit gem bag has been added to the thaler shop for 360 thaler, allowing players to store up to 60 of each unused spirit gem.

Lootbeams are now removed upon picking up the item, and now last for as long as the associated item is on the floor.

Visibility of the symbols on the Dungeoneering occult floor library puzzles has been improved, for the benefit of colourblind players.

The Ascension Dungeon boss labs warning has been changed to a Doomsayer warning, allowing players to toggle it off.

Several outdated and irrelevant entries in the Doomsayer interface have been removed.

More travel cutscenes can be skipped with the toggle, including boats to and from Rellekka, icy hunter area canoe, Mort Myre Swamp boat and the boat to the iceberg.

Several functional right-click options on NPCs have been made the default left-click option, including the Tool Leprachauns's tool exchange and various ship boarders.

The skull image on the Wilderness kills board has been updated, making it easier to read recorded deaths.

Parent interfaces in Legacy interface mode have been updated to match the Legacy theme.

The long line beneath the tabs found in various parent interfaces has been udpated.

Korasi's sword and Jessika's swords can now be disassembled without first being augmented. Non-augmented Korasi's sword has a lower chance to provide pestiferous components, though.

The disassembly confirm window hotkey has been changed to Y instead of 1.

The buy limit of tectonic energy, malevolent energy and sirenic scales on the Grand Exchange has been increased to 100, from 10.

Cutting a single gem once again bypasses the Make-X system.

Dealing magic damage with the crackling perk now displays as ability damage, matching the other combat styles.

A notification has been added when attempting to continue pickpocketing in Prifddinas with a full inventory.

It is now possible to receive the Medium Wilderness Task Set Agility buff by having the Wilderness Sword in the backpack.

The Champions' Challenge reward experience is now paid out in lamp form.

Various usability fixes have been made for Temple Trekking:

The sick people's thanking dialogue has been changed to to overhead, and improved pathing around them smooths out the experience.

The exit point on the Paterdomus sign closer to the noticeboard.

Vyrewatch spawns have been moved further from the swamp water.

Timbo has taken another victim in Morytania, near the Temple Trekking Canifis-side signpost.

The speed that the fire spreads and that water spells can be fired in the grotto fire event have both been increased.

Blocking has been removed from non-burning plants during the grotto fire event.

A Quick-start button has been added to the noticeboard after selecting a trekker.

Swamp snakes now appear above their dead brethren, their clickable area has been improved.

Graphical


Ironman legs will no longer stretch when performing certain animations.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


The aggression, luck and camouflage potions will now correctly share half of their effects in Social Slayer.

Rogue gloves from Deathmatch are no longer always lost on death.

Broken rogue gloves from the Crucible now unlock the tier 1 Deathmatch gloves when converted.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Arc sea shells are now stackable.

The Arc travel map interface now opens to the Uncharted Isles page if last selected, saving players who wish to travel to another island one click.

Tang (food merchant) on Waiko now buys non-sliced wushrooms.

Players can now access the gnome glider network from the Tuai Leit gnome colony after rescuing Azalea Oakheart.

Players no longer sink into the stairs on Tuai Leit.

The player's chat head when wearing the karasu mask no longer clips through the Legacy interface.

Players can no longer walk through a rock on Cyclosis.

The blocking on certain uncharted isles has been fixed.

The destroy message on the hunter outfit now indicates that it can be reclaimed from Diango or a player-owned house costume room.

Mushroom clusters now look better when spawning on a hill on an uncharted island.

An unhandled dialogue state in Head of the Family when talking to the cyclops captain has been fixed.


Other


Entering a Telos encounter will now offer the ability to fight an extra 5% above highest enrage. This is so players no longer need to perform two kills to get to a new highest enrage.

Several phase indicators have been added to Telos's life points interface.

Players can once again teleport to the Grand Exchange using Sliskelion pieces from the full currency pouch interface.

Players can once again activate the Insane Final Boss title.

An issue with the scroll bar on the Group Members window has been fixed.

Runemetrics rows no longer get muddled, showing XP added to the wrong skill.

Graphical


The clan noticeboard editing interface has been overhauled to modern standards, fixing some lingering bugs in the process, including making all of the scrollbars work.

The combat targeting circle no longer appears when casting Bind, Snare or Entangle on implings.

The skin tone on the wanderer west of the agility pyramid has been corrected.

Players can now view the "give thanks" emote in the Worn Equipment section of the Gear interface without their avatar stretching and distorting.

Umi's chathead has been updated on a Player-Owned Ports interface.

Yakamaru's quicksand sinking animation is now cleared when exiting the area.

An issue with a desert bandit chathead model has been fixed.

The bank minimap icon has been removed from the Grand Tree on level 2, as the bank is on level 1.

Model gaps have been fixed in the Shadow Hunter and Shadow Demon outfits.

A Yanille hedge that was burrowing through the Watchtower brickwork has been trimmed.

Expanded buttons will now correctly close themselves when interfaces are removed from display.

The Falador wall no longer has a gap in it.

A duplicate ladder has been removed from the Draynor sewers.

Bilrach's model seen during the relevant Fremennik saga has been updated.

Mahjarrat in Dominion Tower have been graphically updated.

The Mahjarrat models for Enakhra and Akthanakos in Enakhra's Lament have been updated to their new models from Children of Mah.

Stretching issues on the High Priest's face in Sophanem have been fixed.

A missing chathead has been added to a dig site panner.

Private quick chat now uses the correct text colour.

A section of missing piping along the floor of Keldagrim has been returned.

An issue that was causing certain item images to not appear in the Grand Exchange collect interface has been fixed.

Skin tones of some residents of Sophanem have been adjusted.

An issue that was causing some objects to appear invisible in the NXT client has been fixed.

The quest start overlay on the World Map has been fixed.

Certain doors with the hinges on the wrong side in Catherby have been fixed.


Skills, D&Ds & Minigames


An engram's hints have been altered to refer to 'The Thing' rather than 'The Beast'.

It is no longer possible to use the memory strand teleport option during combat.

The bank chest in the Memorial to Guthix has been moved slightly north-west.

Making memory shard products no longer drops them to the floor if the player's backpack becomes full.

Engrams now have a teleport option to the Memorial to Guthix.

Cooking sillago now correctly requires 91 Cooking, instead of 92.

Players now have a chance to obtain the Farming skilling pet, Brains, from planting crystal tree seeds and harvesting crystal tree blossoms.

The additional experience gained from the demonic skull while Abyss Runecrafting now counts towards the chance to receive Rue.

A typo in Quercy's chat formerly found in Otot when inquiring about supply runs has been fixed.

A quick-chat option for lifetime crystal shapeshifter kills and prestige has been added.

The examine on the Livid Farm point enhancer has been updated to correctly list the produce point bonus as an additional 50%.

The Teleport to Lodestone button on the Mobilising Armies Minigames interface now correctly teleports to Oo'glog instead of Draynor.

Bloodvelds are now all melee-based and weak to fire spells.

Smithing dragonfire shields now uses the production interface with its own dropdown selection at anvils.

The White tree shoot now has a left-click Water option.

The Invention skill guide now lists the correct components needed for the auto-sanctifier, electrified box traps and B.A.N.K. standers.

Players can no longer disassemble and equip the same item.

Players now need 90 Dungeoneering to be able to do the gold Rush of Blood challenge.

World hopping within the Deathmatch minigame will now clear any overload buffs gained.

Players can now reach Bob Barter on Bounty Hunter worlds for potion decanting services.

The Nightmare gauntlets' naming and placement in the Defence skillguide has been fixed.


Quests, Challenges and Achievements


Players who have spoken to Philipe with 200 Quest Points may now return to his mother Henryeta and claim a red dragon wolf juvenile, or a black dragon wolf juvenile with 400 Quest Points. This will be available as soon as 400 Quest Points become obtainable. Both may be used as overrides.

The colour of the surrounding map squares for Sliske's labyrinth has been adjusted to make it clear which is the accessible parts of the labyrinth.

Gertrude's fishbowl in New Varrock is now easier to reclaim if it has previously been lost.

'Armadyl' has been capitalised in the Staff of Armadyl object from the Temple of Ikov quest.

A cutscene during Blood Runs Deep will no longer show the Miscellania approval rating interface.

A graphical issue that occurred when trying to skip certain One Piercing Note cutscenes has been fixed.

Some camera issues with cutscenes in The World Wakes have been fixed.

Some of Kharshai's dialogue has been changed to reference Lucien instead of Enakhra.

Post-quest Children of Mah dialogue has been given to Seren in the Tower of Voices.


Other


Ripper demon claws, camel staves and wyvern crossbows can now be augmented.

Healing titans now scale the amount of health they give based on maximum life points, as unicorn stallions do. Additionally, both unicorn stallions and healing titans will no longer drain adrenaline.

A right-click option has been added to Lumbridge's combat training dummies to switch damage modes between guaranteed maximum hit mode, minimum hit mode or normal mode for player damage. Dummies will switch back to normal after 5 minutes.

The Planted Feet perk now has the effect that the duration of Sunshine and Death's Swiftness is increased by 25%, but they no longer deal periodic damage to your target. This effect is not cancelled by switching weapon while Death's Swiftness or Sunshine are in effect, and Planted Feet no longer affects Berserk.

Augmented Telos weapons now show their correct value in the Wealth Evaluator.

Telos will now drag players into melee distance when casting tendrils if they're outside the max range of their equipped weapon.

Adrenaline is no longer lost when transitioning to phase 5 of Telos.

Lady Niya is now able to combine any leftover '...of Seasons' items players may have. This includes the Cloak of Seasons, Pet of Seasons, Crown of Seasons and Outfit of Seasons.

Players can no longer walk into another cart on Tuai Leit.

Harmonious resonance will now correctly trigger when crystallise is cast.

A missing apostrophe in Janus's chat in the Empyrean citadel has been added.

A force-walk tile has been removed from the clan camp.

Approaching Dilwyn from a certain angle no longer closes the dialogue box.

The name of the Rellekkan fishmonger has been corrected to 'Fishmonger'.

Players can no longer repair the beacon climbing pegs in Burthorpe from within a nearby shop.

All variants of battle robe bottoms now consistently have a magic stat.

Ice warriors that were inconsistently weak to air, water or earth are now weak to fire.

Overhead information of an NPC will no longer disappear if trying to attack with a ranged weapon with invalid ammunition.

The camera will no longer continue to bounce if the player dies when using Meteor Strike.

The dazzling clover necklace now consistently consumes charges.

Shadow clones spawned from the Staff of Sliske's special attack will no longer get distracted if in range of an AoE ability.

Player moderator private messages will now correctly respect the split private chat and private chat filter settings.

Examining degraded gear from Player-Owned Ports now shows the correct High-Alchemy value.

A spelling error on the NXT Graphics Setting tab has been fixed.

Stanley Limelight at Soul Wars is now easier to speak to from the front.

Nightmare creatures will now drop gloves substantially less frequently when not the subject of the player's current slayer assignment.

Ninja fixes


Players may now display the Emotes interface as text, hiding each emote's icon.

The Wilderness abyssal demons have migrated through the obelisk portal to south of the Graveyard of Shadows, a multi-combat zone.

The demonic skull bonus effect can now also be activated by interacting with any of the activities it can give a bonus to. It must be equipped and in Lv20+ Wilderness.

The Barrows kill counter overlay now shows when above ground in the Barrows area.

Various object names that were cut short by old character limits, were missing proper noun capitalisation or had other issues have been adjusted. Notable mentions to mahogany flatpacks, dragonhide equipment, skillcapes and ancient warrior equipment.

Clicking prayers while in the Quick Prayers selection window will no longer activate them.

Players may now filter the Music interface between unlocked, locked and all music tracks.

The ability to drag objects in the Looting interface has been removed, as it's not possible to reorder this inventory.

Paying the Zombie Farmer in Herblore Habitat to protect plants via the right-click option now skips much more of the dialogue.

Players may now receive Bernie from burning curly roots using Superheat Form.

The loot settings interface now features a Dungeoneering key lootbeam toggle.

A cooldown to the Soul Split prayer's audio has been added.

Prawn crackers are now stackable. If they were previously in your backpack, they will be shown as individual item stacks. To fix this, bank them and re-withdraw them.

The message for teleporting urns now uses commas in the XP displayed.

Players may now toggle the Varrock sewers warning message via the doomsayer settings, as long as they have entered it 6 times, as with the other warning messages.

The Rubium ore mining message has been added to the spam filter.

It is now possible to use the Surge ability in the following places:

NXT/Engine


Audio not playing correctly on some types of NPCs has been fixed.

Environment particles should no longer sharply cut into the terrain.

Dragging item stacks inside the player inventory while large bank tabs are open will no longer cause dramatic FPS drops.

The World Gate now renders correctly on the World Map.

A rare audio-related crash has been fixed.

Incorrect interpolation in certain cutscenes has been fixed.

A bug with shadow occlusion has been fixed.

Certain particles that were being reflected on water despite being below the water's surface have been fixed.

Roofs are now removed properly with water on low, shadows on and ambient occlusion on.

An error with shadows that stopped rendering certain animations has been fixed.
