Herblore Habitat completed

Post by Dr Brad » Fri Nov 26, 2010 5:32 am

I caught all the non-god and god jadinkos and thus received the witchdoctor robes and mask. Next week: witchdoctor pants! Free Herblore Habitat teleports and baron sharks for the win!

If anyone needs help, don't hesitate to ask me.

Do you think it's a viable way to train hunter/herblore/farming?

I tried it for 30 mins or so, managed to catch some common and shadow guys... didn't get much further than that.

Cant remember the combo but the draconic along with another one yielded 175k per hour without the scent potion. Someone on RSOF posted this.

A little tip

If anyone is trying for it, the feature or bush spots may need to be empty when trying for the god dinosaurs.

Spoiler?...maybe just a little
Keep in mind that the blue, green and red flowers (drizzled with juju hunter potion) match with sara, guthix, and zammy, respectively. That decreases the variables significantly when changing the feature, fruit tree, and bush spots. Consider the feature spot like a dial...rapidly turning through all the choices.

Don't want to spoil your spoiler but my Guthix was Green, my saradomin was red and my zammy was blue.

So I think I'll wait for a month or so before some of those krazy statistics people come out and tell us exactly how good/bad this is. Until then... yay 6th fruit tree spot!

hunter xp is amazing, if you want xp it is the way to go, unfortunately not much cash directly but the farming pot gives you a potential profit of 1m per farming run if your planting torstol.

Link to the wiki page if you want to cheat http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Herblore_Habitat I have it for reference only.

This is a step by step guide to catch all 10 this week. Only read if you want it spoiled. If you'd like to do it yourself then by all means dont read the spoiler
This is based on an empty patch, but would also work if you already had things grown...

1) Common - Plant green flower
2) Carrion - Plant kalf bush, build bone
3) Disease - Plant banana tree
4) Cannibal - Build grass, use potion
5) Shadow - Plant red flower, build house
6) Aquatic - Build pond, plant apple tree, use potion
7) Camo - Plant lerg bush, build stones, use potion
8 ) Draconic - Build pit, use potion
9) Amphibious - Plant blue flower, build pond
10) Igneous - Build vent, plant orange tree

If you have not caught any jads before starting this, you will need to do the following:

Before step 1)
Talk to Papa and get your free flower seeds

Before step 2)
Box trap (with plants) common jads until you have at least 1 of each seed. You can buy the apple, orange and banana seed at the GE to speed things up.

Before step 4)
Box trap carrion jads until you have an erzille seed, plant it in the vine herb patch, and track diseased jads to collect some corrupt vines. When the herbs are grown, harvest and mix in juju vials to make juju hunter potions.

Once you start using the juju herb plot on the small island, I recommend your binding the ammy of nature to the plot because you can't pay the zombie gardener to watch if for you, and it takes a while going back and forth to the island via the vine bridge.
