Olympians!! Please read!!

Post by Lady in Ice » Tue Jan 12, 2010 9:01 pm

Hi!

I hope that you´ll have lots of fun with the Olympics. :)
Just a little reminder before the event starts ( Jan 15th, 8 pm GMT):
1) how it works : your team has to gain 400k ( or 300k when 3-man team) in each skill during the week. Who trains what and how much exp you gain in the skills- its up to your team. If you exceed ( as a team) 400k ( or 300k for the 3 men team) in a skill then the experience will not be counted. It means that if your team has gained 400k ( or 300k in a 3-men team) in a skill then its better to switch to another skill that has not been maxed yet.
2) how to know if the skill is maxed out : Each skill on your tracker has a value of cumulative exp gained . If it reaches 400k ( or 300k in a 3-member team) then you have maxed out the skill. The tracker updates the data after you have logged out and " updated" you tracker.
3) what to do when you max out all the skills : cheer in cc and post in forums. Make sure a staff member confirms it ( if there is no staff member then ask someone from other Olympic team to confirm ( he has to check all your skills to confirm that you have maxed out)
4) If you are not in the RS highscores with a skill- experience that you gain in that particular skill - it won´t be counted
5) The winner is the team who is first to max out all the skills. 3-member teams have to gain 300k exp to max out.
6) if someone in my team doesn´t gain any experience at all or only gaines a little experience- The staff has taken out every person from who we know that he/she is unable to compete. Also it has been up to the teams to communicate...If you know that someone has said that they cannot participate then let us know ASAP. There is no way to remove someone after the competition has started. ( It means that you will still have 400k per skill as a goal)
7) log out before the start of the event!!!!

Short reminder about the rules:
1) not allowed: before the event collected points from minigames (f.i : Agility tickets, garden squirks, slayer points, farming points from minigame). the only minigame allowed before the event was stealing creation ( you can use stealing creation points to buy tools/armour)
2) not allowed : quest exp rewards
3) Penguin points: allowed but only those penguins that are spied during the week of January 15th-22nd.
4) brawling gloves - not allowed
5) The random event lamps are allowed, but diary and quest lamps are not.

Good luck!!! And remember : this is a friendly competition !!! Don´t cheat and don´t kill anyone :D

Very important: You have to manually start the stats capture (only once) after the olymps start time.

From the tracker site

Capture Starting Clan stats

The button above will remain unclickable until the start time of the competition. When the competition begins, someone will just need to click the above button once to manually start the tracker and capture the clan's starting xp data.

does every team have to do this manually?
or is an admin taking care of it?
