The title says it all: let's go have a word or two with the Chaos Elemental just for the fun of it!
And who knows, one of us could be lucky and get the Boss Pet.
Beware, this is a dangerous event! We will be in the wilderness and therefore we could be pked.
The Chaos Elemental is quite easy to kill while soloing so I guess it's going to be uber easy in a group...
Ely has high magic defence so you should be choosing your combat style between ranged or melee.
She uses 3 different attacks:
* Discord: projectile attack that can deal either magic, ranged or melee dmg up to 1104.
You can pray protect from magic if using melee, protect from missiles if using ranged or ss (that's what I do).
* Confusion: Ely teleports the players to a random area nearby.
Just keep auto-retaliate on and you'll be right back at her.
* Madness: Ely removes the players' mainhand weapon and randomly up to 3 other equipped items.
That is why you need to always have your inv full.
I usually have in my inv an ovl flask, a super restore flask, a saradomin brew flask and buckets! (Yes, I know flasks get destroyed once you take the last sip
).You can bring whaterever you want, but nothing that will leave an empty spot once it's gone.
Btw, Ely drops stuff that can fill up your inv. She also drops food (pizza, shark, tuna, stew).
As I wrote at the beginning we will be in the wilderness (deep wilderness to be precise), so we could get killed not only by the boss but by other players too.
This brings us to the correct dresscode for the event: If you die in the wilderness and you're not skulled you can save 3 items, 4 if item protection prayer is on. You can check what items will be saved on death from your worn equipment tab as you can see in the picture below. Arrows and bolts won't be saved.
Once again, you can wear whatever you want but pls nothing you're not prepared to lose.
This is also going to be my mise for the event. Btw, crystal bow doesn't require arrows.
You can also bring a familiar.
We will meet at Edgeville and use the lever there to get to the deserted keep and from there we will just run east towards Rogues' Castle. Remember you cannot teleport away from the deep wilderness.
