There is so much more that needs to be secured.
Its a never-ending job.. unfortunately..
I find it great you guys are fighting for our security, day in, day out..

Now to post another threat..
Active topics and such are viewable without logging in.
I just made an attempt of viewing a topic I have never viewed before.. Whilst being logged off.. And I could read every single word.

Another, far more important, issue is.. Everyone can use the Search button.. Even when not logged in..
Meaning they can get search-results of topics which should only be accessible whilst being logged in.

Im sure we can find much more safety threats. So keep up the good job guys! (And girls!!)

After looking into it with Oobz, it got clear those are mainly threads from our Applications forum..
Which is currently being discussed within staff.
Jumped to conclusions a bit too soon after seeing several threads.. (Including the Global Announcement )

We've taken several steps to combat this. Some of these include - removing birthdays from the calendar...

We've recently seen a couple of birthday congratulations posted to KoA forums. Very nice! However, before posting a birthday congratulation, consider whether this may introduce a security risk for the individual you're congratulating. Consider congratulating the person via PM instead.
