Problems in Cc

Post by beefeater555 » Tue Jan 03, 2012 8:48 am

It has become blatantly apparent there are issues in the cc where some members cannot see other member's text in the cc. I thought everyone should be made aware of this so there will be no hard feelings generated due to the fact you may not see some member's text. This has caused some great confusion over the past couple days and I just wanted to make all the members aware of this. I would ask everyone to be please be patient...

In the mean time I would like to suggest we reopen "KOA Clan" friends chat and see if that still works. I think it would be a good thing for us to be back in a community setting were all can be seen and heard...

Just my two cents...

I have no way of knowing. I often get involved in something, either in RS or in the next screen over and miss a lot of chat. I'm not ignoring anyone, apologies if anyone thinks I have slighted them, I just don't always watch the chat box. Sorry

For everyones information, this is NOT just a problem with CC but also carries over to Private messages.

It is also happening in the Friends Chat aswell, having seen a couple threads on the forums, we are not the only ones experiencing it

The more ppl who submit bug reports (bottom of RS mainpage --> "Submit a Bug Report") the more likely Jagex will see this as a priority problem and work to fix it.

I reported the bug.

After much testing today with Dr Brad and Snowangel, we have found that if you cannot see someone in cc, you will not be able to see them in fc nor receive pm's from them. It just seems some worlds are not "connected" in the chat system. Likewise if you are on the same world this is not an issue. So until this is fixed, I would suggest everyone try to use world 114 since it is our home world. This is the best solution I can offer at this time.

Keep Smiling :)

People in 114 couldn't see what each other were saying. Whatever world fluff was using might be good. She was seeing everyone's text. The citadel also was glitching on who could and could not see what ppl from different worlds said.
