Will the koa friends chat not be used anymore at all, like, disabled?
I think you are correct Serame, I don't think we have an option to do that. I believe the only option is to either allow guests or not allow guests. I may be wrong on that though.

Regarding the koa friends chat, it was mentioned in the initial post that it will be removed.

I think thats the plan Serame.

Sad to see you have this choice but I hope it works out best for you Lacey whatever choice you make. It was always nice to talk to you in the clan chat and I'm sure you'll be welcome back at any time if you do choose to leave us. I'm sure you understand the admins are making it this way in the clans best interests as you have a clan of your own currently and you know what some of the effects can be. Oh and what Serame said would be a great idea but I don't think its set to go like that.

Retired fall of 2012. Goodluck Koa! :)

Well, I think Jagex is aware that there are many multi-clanners around and will probably implement the ability to officially join multiple clans in the future. So I'll probably sign back up whenever that comes along.

Unfortunately I don't believe this is the case. I'm no expert on the subject, but from what I understand, being in a clan basically means you're tied to a system. Jagex ties you into the "clan pages", the citadel, and other things. Their technology doesn't allow for a person to be in more than one clan.

Actually it's probably not the tech at all, but their lack of skill and knowledge.

B F O A is correct. As Mod Timbo stated (http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/f ... 1,62659915):
Just to be clear, this wasn't a design choice - being in only one clan at a time is a technical limitation. If we could have a working solution where you could be part of multiple clans but only have one where your hiscores counted then we would have looked at it. However, as it stands all of the clan system can only work with one person belonging to only one clan.

I have spoken to the leader of my current clan, and he is happy for me to only be active in the fc (they operate both).
This means I am free to move from fc into cc when the change occurs. Looks like you're stuck with me now =)

Hey Lacey, how does your other clan have the FC and CC active? Just curiously.

I think it has to do since it is a Distraction and Diversion clan. The main clan chat is used by the ranks of the fc to determine who's turn it is to take control of the fc. It works like this for "Fast SC" clan chat and friends chat.

Kaejer, in answer to your question, the clan I am involved with runs both chats, and has done so since clans arrived. Most chat used to be carried out in fc, however they moved to cc a little before I joined you guys here. For a D&D clan, this hasn't worked for them, and they are now going back to using fc mainly. (I tried to change it while I was in charge, as the move to cc happened during my annual holiday) For them, talking only in cc has killed off the clan, but it is slowly recovering. Moving to fc only now means I am free to stay with you guys here. From this clans point of view, it is right for you to move to cc only, as you are a closed group, and don't rely on people popping in and out. It will help you guys focus on being a community, and progressing your citadel. I have always been in support of this, even when I thought it would mean I had to leave. Luckily my other clan has seen sense at last, and I can stay with all you lovely people here =)

Shutting up now!
