Edit: If you accuse the admins in your post, you can expect them to react to that. It is their good right. If you accuse me of something, I would do the same. Nothing to worry about if you stay on topic and don't get personal.

Certainly nothing about this thread or idea worth quitting over.

I been in this clan waaaay longer than most. Doesn't mean my opinion is any more valid than anyone else's but I have seen more people come and go. I understand both sides of the argument and have to say I am in favor of it. I put a lot more thought than the amount of words typed here, trust me. I just didn't want to get all deep and philosophical with a 2000 word post. So, generalizing, I can say I think it would be better for the clan as a whole.


I posted my vote (yes), certainly nothing personal to those who are under 21 in our clan, my opinion is primarily based on those "under 21's" who are NOT in our clan anymore.

Either way (unlike other people may not be doing) I support my clans decision (thank you democracy) 100%, regardless of the outcome.

I just think its a shame that people can't fun in the cc anymore without being patronized as offensive behavior by a few sour apples. Its one thing to not have a funny bone in your body, or forget the fun in life, or even go out of your way to be the grouch (from the examples of maturity shown by older members of the clan, these traits are what it takes to be "mature") its another to push these traits onto others in hopes that they'll act this way as well.

Changed my vote to I don't know....altho its should say 'i don't care', its only a game at the end of the day, no matter what polls etc u put up, its not gonna affect real life, therefore just leave I as it is and concentrate on ur other 'big changes going on'

I voted yes and not only do I think it should be raised I think more importantly we should have a two week probationary period for people before they gain full access.

I would have to agree with Laurie. I've been playing rs for 4 yrs now . I've known many so-called adults who are very immature and love to start drama. Age is but a number. Maturity comes from within. If something is said in cc that is deemed innappropriate, a simple reminder to that person should be all it takes. Many of us slip up once in a while. We're human. This has nothing to do with age. I am voting to keep the age at 18. (btw... I'm 18 )

I'm not sure what brought this all on But whenever i dont care for cc discussions i just go ninja mode...no big deal. I come back a different day. I'm not sure age is the problem, but i will abide by whatever the admins decide on the issue. I trust their insight and decision making

I agree I would like to hear more reasoning behind the change. I know staff do not want to reveal their personal position but I believe many of you have. Your voice as a member is important in my humble opinion.

I will as always follow the decision the administrators make. Going on 2 1/2 years in the clan now.

It is important to remember that the membership is be given an opportunity to voice their opinion on this issue. The hard working staff could have just made the decision and not asked us to vote.

Amen on all points. As the voting continues, it is working towards a tie, or at least a very thin majority 'win'. That is less than ideal, and potentially harmful to our clan.

Admins, I encourage you to work through this issue as quickly and decisivey as possible. I logged a 'no' vote, for my stated reasons. However, I will very happily go along with whatever is decided, as long as we can put this behind us and move forward as friends.

I´m not sure why some ppl connect the proposal of raising requirements with admins wish to keep offensive trash chat and porn out of the cc... They´re not connected.

Don´t make any drama out of it. It´s not a question of life and death

If a "no" wins then nothing will change. This is a democracy. We (admins) will not push through the change if the majority is against it.
