I managed to fix the user registration and banning issue, however this is a temp fix and has in turn led to many more issues, you may find a lot of minor functions on the site may not be working. Especially on your profiles.

However this was the only option to make sure new members could sign up which I'm sure you will agree is very important, spent 6 hours+ getting it to work today and the whole weekend, so sorry if I am behind on promises of many other things I said I would do, but making sure people could register was extremely important.

As for the other problem I will fix them asap but if i see another line of php in the next few days I'll scream, it is fast coming back, but I am editing code that is not my own, on a site that is huge, 5k+ files and most of what i learnt 10 years ago is out of date, big learning curve lol.
