Yesterday, while I was logged into cc a couple of clan members were contacted by someone purporting to be me, they have made an account with the name CalIy Raven, (the second L has been replaced with a capital I and it looks exactly the same in the friends list as mine!) luckily the two clan members realised they had 2 Cally Ravens on their friends list and told me straight away, unfortunately too late to report ingame
We've checked on the adventurers log and there is an account with this name, all levels are 1 except for constitution which is 10.

Please check it is me that is pm'ing you, my imposter asked one clan member about doing a floor of dung with them, I only ever solo dung. The other clannie was asked for gp to help flip some merch, I will NEVER pm anyone asking for any items or gp so please be aware.

If this person pm's you in game please, please report it!! It is the only way Jagex can act upon this account. They have been reported and Jagex are watching out for any reports of activity by this account.

The Ways To Combat The Scammer:

1) have me added to your friends list, that way if you are pm'ed from 'me' and you have to add me to your friends list you know it's the scammer.
2) Add the scammer to your friends list (CalIy Raven - the second L is a capital I) then put them on ignore.
3) I have my blue VIP star turned on next to my name that will show in pm's.
4) Know I will NEVER ask for items or gp.

I guess imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Will be on the lookout for the poser!

So we have regular Cally and creepy stalker Cally? So many choices- I'll take mine with cream and sugar please!

Just a quick update:
My imposter was pm'ing three clannies again this morning, so it only seems to happen when the chat is open to guests. A guest entered chat, I welcomed them, then clannies were pm'ed, none of them responded due to them missing it or being in combat (I am keeping a note of the guests in chat at the same time) Aeru then pm'ed me thinking it was me who who pm'ed him and I saw CalIy Raven log out and so did the guest.
This leads me to believe someone guests in chat to see if I'm online then my imposter pm's clannies hoping they think it's me.
If you are feeling brave please feel free to reply to them and if they try to get gp or items from you report them for scamming. Lets get this stopped, it could be happening to other clans. I will post on RSOF forums to warn others about this scam so hopefully no one gets duped by this.

To combat this please have me on your friends list, then if the imposter pm's you and you have to add them to your friends list to reply you will know it's not me!!

Another simple solution would be to put your private chat to friends only
