What happened to forums?

Hey, just wondering...

Why have the forums changed, so you cannot click on names anymore, can´t see the memberlist, no members profile access?

Any chance this could be undone?

Really not sure what you mean Kal...still works as it always has - no change has been made as far as I am aware.

Can you click on my forum name and does it take you to my profile?

Or can you see the clan memberlist in the right corner of forums?

I asked Imp to get on forums and see if he had the same problem Kal is having. He said there isn't a place to click to see the member list now for him either. He also said he cannot click on names. I can see both so it must be a setting for non-staff that is changed.

I have no idea which version of phpbb and mods are run behind the forum engine, but it's most likely user account control issue.

with phpbb you generally give permissions by group rather than user, although you can make exceptions, unless you wanted to make a change to only a couple of users permissions, it would be done inside of group permissions.

if you go directly to the memberlist or a profile you get:

You are not authorised to view the member list or profiles.

and judging by staff still being able to access - it's just a group permission change.

It was mainly group permissions - but the username linking to the profile wasn't in the theme, so I don't think that's been there since the board moved.
I've edited the theme to put it in.
