Re: 7 hours at bandos

"ISP M*"-bits per second?

*: 1000 *1000 the cheating bastards.. don't they know it should be measured in Kbytes or Mbytes? Where K is, of course, 1024..

How about the latency though? It's far more important than bandwidth for RS (which barely uses any bandwidth)

Re: No HD for me atm

Chris, all x86 CPU's you can get now are 64bit capable (with the exception of some cheap mobile ones) If they aren't nudged into longmode they will act exactly* the same as non-64bit-capable cpu's. * except the CPUID instruction, obviously. When they start, they act like ancient 16bit x86's even. Bu...

Re: Riddles

Ok I win, it's been nearly a month.. Find values for a and b such that a == b and x != y: a = 0 (zero) b = -0 (negative zero) They compare equal to each other (because they're both "nothing" I guess) but their sign affects division: 5/0 = infinity (positive infinity), 5/-0 = -infinity (negative infi...

Coordinates!

5 degrees 55 minutes North
22 degrees 56 degrees East

:twisted:
Not because it's dangerous.. or maybe it is, I've never actually been there - only gold mods could go there (and maybe they can send other people there too, not sure)

Re: Riddles

Ok how about this, not exactly a riddle.. but this isn't really math either (hint hint) x = 5 / a; y = 5 / b; Find values for a and b such that a == b and x != y And: x = [a<b] y = [a>b] z = [a==b] Find values for a and b such that (x or y or z) is false (yes that means the axiom of trichotomy faile...
