I usually went with the train attack to 90, then strength, then defense. Then got them all to 95, then did each to 99. Worked for me, but to each his own I guess.

When it happens to me now, I've given up on it, and just hop when it happens. Rather not sit there and either argue or slow down exp for someone else's ego and stubbornness. Makes life alot easier.

What I'd like to see is the max raised to 120 in all skills, but still have the 99's capes and what not. Just different ones at the level 120 mark. Keeps both sides of the party happy, those who just want 99 and those who choose to go all out and get 120.

I attempted once to be all gung-ho to max, but that only lasted a few days. Rather just do fun stuff like Slayer and minigames

Usually split most of my time between 99 and 78, always have and I guess always will
