Player-owned port: Map Table

In the most recent POP update, the Map Table was added. Runewiki says the following about it:
Increases the chance of receiving clue voyages.
â– 1 Map Table: +4% chance, provides one hint every four days for which island to search next for some adventurer's clue voyage
â– 2 Map Tables: +7% chance
â– 3 Map Tables: +9% chance
â– 4 Map Tables: +10% chance, provides one hint every day

Does anyone understand how to use the "hint" to direct your ship to the island? Do you need to click on the island (identified in the hint) on the POP map before sending out the voyage?

There's also mention in some posts about speaking with the captains at the pub for "hints". I need to better understand this too.

You need to build a map table on one of your totem hotspots (needs 3000 jade and 2000 cherrywood to build).
Map table Increases the chance of receiving clue voyages.
1 Map Table: +4% chance, provides one hint every four days for which island to search next for some adventurer's clue voyage
2 Map Tables: +7% chance
3 Map Tables: +9% chance
4 Map Tables: +10% chance, provides one hint every day
When you see a clue voyage go click on the map table and it will tell you which island the clue is on. Then go to the bar and talk to the adventurer for the clue and you'll get options to send him to the island your map gave you then click on that. Send your ship out and bob's your uncle, You'll hopefully get that voyage back ok

Just for a heads up folks, I re-rolled my adventurers today and got a clue voyage, checked my map table and it gave the place to look. Went to talk to the respective adventurer in the bar and no adventurers were there! I had to sent the clue voyage off without giving the adventurer his instructions, needless to say it failed at 100%. I've submitted a bug report, but just thought I'd let you know incase anyone tries an adventurer re-roll and gets a clue voyage.

Some adventurers can be upstairs, while some others are downstairs I think. I'm not sure if you checked there too?

I checked the bar upstairs and down, I also went all round the whole port and in every building just incase they were somewhere around, they definitely were not anywhere in that port at all
I am assuming you need to do a few before you get any rewards for them
